So now I debate whether to order one "at the last minute" or hope the bottom falls out of the used M1 market in the next 60 days.
Order one through Ourisman ASAP. There won't be a Mach 1 in 2023, unfortunately. You'll regret it if you don't place the order, and it's the best way to get your Mach 1 at/below MSRP. You can always decline it if the car gets built, or you find one before then.

If anyone is interested in my build, the window sticker came through this morning. My dealer said the will work with anyone on my order. I don't know about ADM. Send me a message and I will give you the salesman's contact information.

I'd get a GT500 hood before a shaker.
How much do you think it costs to have the shaker installed vs the GT500 hood, assuming you have decals cut to fit etc? I know the hood and shaker each cost like $1,500ish last I checked, but no idea what installation would run.

I like the look of both but I'd probably also vote GT500 hood—it just fits the lines of the car better. Although admittedly I also love a good shaker...

The GT500 hood will be more expensive. Paint / Fitment / Repairs / Decal. Probably looking at $2000+

Yeah, really. What have you got to lose?
@shogun32 , you turned me on to Ourisman. No deposit required. If it gets built and you don't want it, they just put it on the lot.

the 500 hood is sweet for sure, but the shaker is more in line with the Mach 1 history

but yeah, for sure the painting would drive the price up of going the 500 hood route

Please don't get me started down this rabbit hole!
That's what happened on my '17 GT.
Just need the GT350 spoiler...then exhaust and rear valance...then body kit...
Does a GT500 hood fit?
A OEM GT350 hood didn't fit on a regular GT.

I like the M1 as it is.
I know I would have added all the Handling Pack bits if I didn't get the HP, so I just ordered it like that.
I think I'm good. Uh, ok, maybe mats, but that's it!
And, well, maybe the GT350 gauge cluster. Dang. I don't even have my car yet.

Yeah that's about what I figured. I think either would look good, but the GT500 hood just edges it out a bit for me. I'd be happy with either though.

I'm probably not going to bother with exterior mods (unless decals get damaged somehow, in which case they will be coming off). If I spend money on any mods then it'll likely be for the interior — I plan on leaving this thing stock when I get it.

yup I’m the same, leaving exterior as is and just doing a few minor interior changes. nothing major, the Mach 1 is solid as is

I don't recall who I've seen post photos of it but I have seen 2 people on these forums outfit a GT500 hood on their Mach 1's.

I had my roush x-pipe ordered shortly after I got my car and sadly have not had it installed yet, although, it is going on tomorrow finally. I did the rear marker lights to the LED ones (don't recall the name off hand atm) but they look so much better than the factory ones and were just straight plug and play, installed LED reverse bulb, put ZL1 front mud flaps with GT500 side skirt extensions on, I have some orange stuff that goes between seems for the interior that I've just been to lazy to measure out and throw into the doors and some center console areas and around the radio screen, Steed Air Filter, clear tail lights(still have to order Ford ones since they came out after I got aftermarkets), white madness garage Mach 1 engraved shifter, also installing hood struts tomorrow, frame rails, finally putting on the front wheel moldings as well.

I think that's it for my mods atm but will surely add more down the line.

question... noticed the vinyl has a few glossy spots on it, not super noticeable in normal light but at the right angle they stand out

thought that giving it a good wash and all would take care of it, but they are still there. any thoughts on cause and how to remove?

I think this may need to be replaced as it looks more like it is THROUGH the top part of the stripe that gives it the non gloss effect and original matte finish

Hey guys so Should I come to the realization that I’m not gonna be one of the lucky ones that gets my car built ?🥺🥺
I ordered March 1st through Granger Ford. Yea it was a great deal but didn’t think about the fact that they have so many orders that they’re not gonna all get built. Congratulations to all of you that had to wait since last year and are getting your cars. I’m just so disillusioned with Ford and had to vent…
