Installed my Brembos. Finally.

The threads on the bolt from the brake hardline to the new steel braided lines I installed were marred from the factory (passenger side required a wrench for the entire process, driver side I used a wrench to loosen it and it spun free the rest of the way). It wouldn’t seat into the braided line, so once I realized what happened I had to hold the fluid from dumping out and hold the bolt while I filed it back to working order… An hour job turned into a three hour job.

How did the fitting go? Are they really no-drill? Is there a video or fitting instructions available? Would like to fit some to my 17 GT after having the car peppered by gravel on a recent trip.

I went with the Steeda Sport Springs and Dampers. About 1" drop. Very happy with the outcome.

I ended up going with the Ford Performance springs:

I had the same problem with my former Lincoln that was outside a lot. A cowbird (I got photos) would do the same thing and poop down the doors. Seems he saw himself in the side mirrors. I put shower caps on the mirrors when the car was parked...problem solved.

Additions: Long tubes, Lund 93/E85 Tunes, Wheel Replica Platinum Mach 1 wheels. Plain CM Components Rear Seat delete.

Subtractions: Roush Axle Backs (way too loud w/headers), BMR Centering sleeves (too noisey)

Currently in shop for black roof wrap removal & black 5.0 badge removal (too much black for new wheels). Adding Bigworm Graphix stripes/pinstripes (over top & door rocker).

Good idea. I made up one more layer with built -in chocks. I can now get the tires a full 12 inches off the floor. I now have lots of belly room while zooming around under the car with my creeper. I’ll pass on the rope handles for now. I don’t really need them.

They went on back order right when I ordered them, but I finally got them and put them on yesterday. The zinc coating (I think it’s zinc) turned my black rims matte gray… Otherwise I love ‘em!

How did you attach it to the honeycomb? My Bullitt style grille doesn’t have the pony shaped mounting surface and I was thinking of using superglue to attach mine.

On mine, I found a black 2-part epoxy putty somewhere on Amazon and pressed it into the correct 4 honeycombs, squashing it so it was bigger on the back side of the grille. Then I put a little Gorilla Glue on the back of the pony and pressed the 4 pins into the epoxy putty.
