In Australia, my local Costco has 98, equivalent to 93 in US, at equivalent to US$5.00 per gallon.
Not far away a Shell is around $6.18. Gotta shop around!
I think the 2017 Ecoboost and the 5.0GT share the same auto box. I have GT auto and mine will stay in 5th around town too. At those low speeds 6th is too high, hence when you click the right side paddle it shows 5th and will not go to 6th. I don't think you have a problem.
Thanks Deyon, that's the sort of detailed info I was hoping to receive from this group of detailing experts!
I'll go over it thoroughly and make a plan of action.
Cheers!
Taking delivery of a new vehicle next week. Not a Mustang, one is enough. I don't want to go the whole ceramic protection thing, but would like advice on a good protective coating regime that I can easily apply and maintain myself, while the paint is new, without using polishing tools, just my...
Same thing happened to me at my local dealer. 2017 GT requires 7.6litres (8quarts). Idiots put in the 10quarts required for the 2018 model. Never returning!
Local dealership did the exact opposite on my 2017 GT. Replaced the oil with 9.5litres, which is the correct quantity for a 2018 GT, not the 7.6litres that the 2017 requires. Absolute morons can't even identify which car they are working on, let alone perform the correct task.
Haha! We have to wear shorts so we can see if the fire ants are crawling up our leg! And here in sunny sub-tropical Brisbane it's shorts all year round.
My local Autobarn store is advertising Turtle Wax Pro to the Max Liquid Wax for $10 a bottle. Seems like great value when usually $50+
I currently use the Meguiars Hybrid Ceramic Detailer after every wash and my paint is in pretty good condition. Car is garaged.
Firstly, has anyone any...
How about the good old fashioned steering wheel lock? Visually dissuades the thief from attempting to steal your vehicle, and when not in use can be used to bludgeon attempted hijacker! Just a thought.
I second this. On mine recently I found that the lower "jaw" of the negative terminal had slightly deformed the battery post. I could spin it but not lift it off. Unbolted the whole negative terminal clamp and the positive and lifted the battery out so that I could gently lever the negative...
Replace. My wife drives a VW Golf which I wash and detail regularly, including adding tyre gel for appearance every second wash. Recently I found large cracks on the two oldest tyres (Pirellis) which were 7 years old. The cracks must have appeared between washes as they were extremely obvious...
