Do you do lot of clutch dumps/slips or drive spiritedly all the time? I'd say 80k on a clutch ain't much. :(I recently had a much needed maintenance done on my car including spark plugs, trans flush, serp belt, filters, etc. In the process of replacing my clutch, just waiting on the parts. My stock clutch is still going at 80k miles but acts up once in a while. Just want to get it over with.![]()
I thought putting lithium under the hood was a no no because of the heat. Everyone I have talked to only recommend AGM. Is that incorrect?It is the ATX20-HD (this was suggested by them for my car and usage) and I made the battery holder myself. I weighed the OEM battery and holder today and came up with 31.561 lbs, my setup with the brackets, battery, terminals, and hardware was 5.6 lbs. Total weight savings was just under 26 lbs.
I’d like to think I drive it ok? But there are times where it doesn’t go into gear so I have to try again for it to go in. Mind if I ask why? I can imagine if it was a height concern you’d need all the pedals extended…? Unless of course you don’t bottom out the other pedals as much I suppose…?I added my first MOD today : EZ-Clutch pedal extension.

Not really an height concern, I am 1.73m. The issue is that there is a big GAP between the clutch pedal and the other ones when the clutch pedal is pressed all the way down (in comparison to other manual cars), and I do not like that feeling. With the extension added, when I press the clutch pedal, my left foot is not that far away anymore from my right one.Mind if I ask why? May I ask where you bought the shift knob?Flew to WV and bought it (‘22 Grabber). Drove it straight home to FL and threw k&N, Euros/Side Markers, Shift Knob, VMS Drag Pack to start. Springs Saturday, then boost soon after.
