Did a little something today. Please excuse the dust we live on gravel road and the trees are busy having sex this time of year.

Before and after.

lol do a 6500-7500 rpm shift from 2nd and for some reason, it tends to want to go to 5th. That constant 3rd lock-out drove me to the MGW.

I has been bugging me for a while. Going into 5th always needed that "extra force"..

Very nice. Too bad they only have 8 colors. I am been looking for even a place to do a custom Need for Green for a while now.
I was tempted to just paint my own, but the UPR one was on sale so I jumped on it. It’s close but not exact, a little dark. Close enough for its location anyway, in the shadows. Need for Green would be much easier to DIY paint than Ruby Red, which I understand is a 3 stage process to do it right.

Finally, warm enough to work on it. Installed the one inch thick wheel spacers. Nice stance improvement for just $65. Gotta love the cheap mods.

One inch thick? Like, a 2" widening of track both front and rear?

Wow!!! I wouldn't think you could go that wide. Is there rubbing?

The wider the spacer the less likely there is rubbing, unless of course the car is lowered so much that the top of the tire is higher than the top of the wheel well arch. The typical concern with spacers that thick is they do not use longer studs that replace the stock ones, but are rather mounted to the stock studs and have studs of their own. Supposedly this creates a significant increase in likelihood of them snapping. I don’t have them, so I can’t say from first hand experience, but there’s generally an understanding that spacers that have studs built into them are not as strong.

If i was able to word that clearly enough to make sense…

Just added canards to the front aero package (i have a big splitter too)
And also removed the fog lights and made a ABS Delete.kit for it for weight saving (7lbs). Cost about 5$. Compare to.2000$ CF hood to save 12 lbs... I take it lol....

Yes, got the information here on the forum, so I went with it. No rubbing, took it for a 40 mile run over lots of terrain and up to 95 mph on the E Way to check for any gremlins. No problems at all, I was looking mainly for steering wheel nibble which I hate, and got none....very happy. Proved the spacers were high quality. I was impressed by the shallow nuts that looked a bit wimpy, but they took all the torque with no problem. Amazon purchase came through well. I will be checking lug nuts often just to be safe. Highly recommend.

Flew to WV and bought it (‘22 Grabber). Drove it straight home to FL and threw k&N, Euros/Side Markers, Shift Knob, VMS Drag Pack to start. Springs Saturday, then boost soon after.

Had Steeda install their Dual Rate Lowering Springs and Jack Rails. The stance being lowered 1" is exactly what I was looking for. Ride in Sport+ is stiffer and will log miles this weekend for a better evaluation. STEEDA POMPANO BEACH ROCKS!

Curious on how this will ride, wouldn't mind a stiffer ride in Sport + (except for pot holes).

I recently had a much needed maintenance done on my car including spark plugs, trans flush, serp belt, filters, etc. In the process of replacing my clutch, just waiting on the parts. My stock clutch is still going at 80k miles but acts up once in a while. Just want to get it over with. 😊
