I had Pilot 4 S on my Bullitt as it came with them. Now switching between winter Sottozero 3 and Pilot 4 AS.
I got for first OH winter (2020) separate set of square setup of Pirelli Sottozero 3 winters. They are on the car currently, likely coming off today.
I've been using Pilot 4 AS for 2...
You can disable this in most camera settings or buy non-GPS mounts. The dual cams are not exclusively sold with GPS-only.
Here's a link to one I have and you can purchase without GPS mount (and later buy a GPS mount if you want).
After I've replaced my tint, the GPS in my mount stopped working...
Today celebrated its 4th birthday.
I got it exactly 4 years ago on leap day 2020 about 2 weeks before covid hit.
Back then, it was a dream as a foreigner in the US to own a Mustang and that exhaust note on the Bullitt sealed it for me.
4 years later, 60,900 miles and smiles for days. It's...
Glad I could help sir.
And what's this "too cold?" Asking as a guy that got his Bullitt on winters right now. :)
I jest. It is a PITA to work in the confined space in the cold.
Funnily enough, my GPS mount stopped working, but it still charges, plus I got front tint, so I'm not looking to mess...
You bet, just paying it forward. :)
Yeah, you can move the mirror quite well, doesn't interfere. I do have to move the mirror to get the camera dismounted and remove the cam to review footage (i.e. to pull out the SD card).
This is not ideal, but it's due to my choice of the way I ran the...
Here's how it looks from my view, basically hidden out of view for me, which I like:
View from passenger seat - and I didn't put it up on that blacked out part in fear of the glue (upon removing the mount) pulling off some of that black stuff. It might not, but wasn't worth the risk for me...
Yeah yeah, I get all that. :)
I have an A129 Pro Duo myself for the past 4yrs (since the Bullitt was new). Which I have with a hardwire kit and rear cam wired just like you.
My question was to you about the rear cam, you said you upgraded to 2K. The Pro Duo (unless something recently changed)...
That's the exact same one I'm rocking in my Bullitt and wife's F150.
I did notice that with tint and the angle, the rear isn't as clear as yours I don't think.
The A229 Pro Duo you initially mentioned is a 2k rear (compared to this one at 1080). Wonder if that's worth the upgrade, but IMO, 4K...
:cwl:
Sh*t ain't that the truth. I still haven't forescan'd out the double honk. But at least now it's not as embarrassing as it once was.
It's per lug nut.
Had the same thing in nearly the same location on mine.
With 3.5yrs on the battery, I replaced it last month. Costco had them for like $110, which these days ain't bad.
Put on new terminals, the only ones that would fit that style were some silly ones from Advance Auto (the ones that are half...
Hey, great information and very much appreciate it!
I was referring to you mentioning Recaros. I misread where you didn't say Recaros affect payload.
You know what does and my dumb a*s totally didn't realize that?
A 5.2L Voodoo vs 5.0L Coyotte and Tremec vs MT82. Those I am betting are vast...
Sorry, find that very hard to believe.
Rear seat delete would add payload, not subtract from it since you'd have less stuff inside.
Additionally, I can bet that adding Recaros to Bullitts wouldn't halve the payload compared to a non-Recaro Bullitt.
Mine's non-Recaro. Someone can post their...
I'm kind of mind-blown by the payload. 351 lbs?
I haven't weighed myself in a couple of days, but legit myself + 1 passenger would put it over payload.
Seems wild. My Bullitt has 650 or so, what is reducing payload here?
S*it that's expensive. But I guess exactly what I would've expected. Do they just get you the same color or is there repainting to be done?
Also, that must've been very low speed then
