Previous owner was a tailgater have filled and polished out several small chips been filling the deep chips little at a time . Hopefully this the last application , next week will wet sand the chip areas , clay bar and polish the whole car . Magnetic Metallic really sparkles in sunlight looks dark green in the shade

What grit are you going to use? I did this job last year and 5000 and 7000 grit sandpaper worked best with Mustang coat. 2500 grit left holograms that were too deep and I had to cut more of the clear coat after wet sanding when I was machine polishing the hood. It takes more time, but starting with 5000 and finishing with 7000 cuts less into surrounding clear coat and is easier to fix at final stage of machine polishing. Hope it helps

Thanks for the info on grits have forgotten what have need to check my box of stuff , looking now for best priced buffers . The car has several blemishes from bird poop and car wash scratches . I'm on post surgery Med leave for a week so this will keep me occupied.

Got BMR rear drag springs, billet vertical links, Kelltrac IRS kit and Viking drag shocks on. 1st time I’ve ever owned or worked on a Mustang. It was 2 steps forward, 1 step backwards….but learned a lot. Front end is next then alignment.
