  1. Are the 10a automatics “sorted out” in the 2022 GTs?

Ford updated the CDF Drum and aluminum shell starting on build dates August 15th/16th Of 2022. Even with updated parts a 10R80 can be headed south if the clutch packs are toast. Really depends on much the previous owner beat on it.
  2. How long my 10R80 lasted drag racing.

After seeing all the 10R80 builders and the so called ā€œstage 1ā€, ā€œstage 2ā€ , 800hp package, 1200hp package etc…..it’s a bit muddy for me. Whatever ā€œpackageā€ I decide on, at a minimum it’ll be double the HP I’m currently at. If this was a street car I’d be less concerned, but asking it to live...
  3. How long my 10R80 lasted drag racing.

Yes, you definitely need to make it down next season. It went 10.44 at 131mph…that’s with a 100+lb cage in it. I get my barrel of E85 from Forged Fuels, he’s based in St.Helens area but he also delivers. He has a Facebook and Instagram page.
  4. How long my 10R80 lasted drag racing.

Unfortunately he seems to have lost interest, I’ve been driving all summer.
  5. How long my 10R80 lasted drag racing.

Thanks! I’m going to a 3.73 rear gear at the same time as the rebuild, I expect to improve the ET. The actually ā€œshiftingā€ should happen quicker and be more consistent for sure. Unfortunately, I won’t know until March/April when the new season starts up.
  6. How long my 10R80 lasted drag racing.

Well, after approximately 150 1/4 mile passes, the 10R80 has decided it’s done. Almost all the passes were with the 3:55 rear gear and car weighing about 3300 lbs. The last 30 passes were with a Circle D converter. This car has spent its entire life shifting at 7500+ RPM. Car made 500 HP last...
  7. RECALL 25S75 (Ford), 25V455 (NHTSA) Low Pressure Fuel Pump Failure

Same! Dropped in the KPM800, it’s been flawless!
  8. Line lock will not engage 2019 GT

The OEM line lock is WAY over engineered for sure. After 1 season dealing with it, I installed aftermarket line locks on a toggle switch.
  9. Improved our ET for 2026

Update from yesterday. Improved the ET. Went 10.44 at 131.6 with a 1.56 60’
  10. Improved our ET for 2026

After running a best of 10.52 last season, the car went 10.45 NA at 130 last Friday. With a 3.55 rear gear and weighing about 3500 lbs with me in it, I’m pretty happy with the progress. Rear tire is the Hoosier DBR 28/10.5-17, which has worked better then the ET Street R at our home track. The...
  11. OTR Intake(DIY)

Made it back to the track and reset our best ET, but only by 1/100th. Ran a 10.51 at 129 with a 1.57 60’. That’s with a 3.55 rear gear. We’ll definitely be switching to a 3.73 which should improve our 60’. The plan is to run June 12th, 13th and 14th. With my son driving this time and a few car...
  12. OTR Intake(DIY)

Yes, I forgot to mention I have Rob Shoemaker speed density conversion kit.
  13. OTR Intake(DIY)

I finally decided to try and make my own OTR intake. I didnā€˜t have to use the Ecoboost radiator to gain clearance because of the Kaenen ā€œBubbleā€ hood I run(No hinges or latch, it uses Dzus fasteners). I ended up buying tubing bends that I didn’t use trying to figure out the correct bends I...

  20. 8.50 cage and Fire Suppression

It’s all in already…you can see the handle in the pic….its up top. That being said, the parachute is removable and won’t be on the car until it’s supercharged.
