Battery Relocation.. Watson Racing Kit.
After deliberating and putting a BOM together, total cost was around $220 + all the hassle. Kits was $300 or so. Worth it to have all crimps, lengths and hardware.
Seat out trim off, wheel off liner out, carpet up, trunk trim removed, drilling and cutting…. Job Done..!

Ready for the Differential cooler install when it arrives from MMR.

Put a FL820 oil filter on

I did an oil change today and after seeing it, researching it, and thinking about it too much, I put it on. There are a few threads on here and many mention how large the filter is compared to the FL500s and that the FL820 fits without issue. Despite all of that, man-alive that fit makes me nervous. I’ll be keeping a close eye on it just for peace of mind.

Been using the FL820 over and over. It's the smart choice.

Hell yeah. My wife loves convertibles but I’ve never been much of a fan, but I got to say Keith that ride looks killer. Nice pictures. Wheels are awesome. White seems like the perfect color for a vert.

From the research I've done, the FL500 looks to have a higher bypass valve setting than the FL820. There's probably a good reason why Ford specs the FL500 instead of the FL820. I don't think the media area between them differs by much. And also, the FL820 seems to have more reports of torn media than the FL500 on BITOG.

Yup, I concur here. I think I commented when you originally posted these wheels, but they are really great looking. Who'd thought that the 20" would look this great.

I think I never heard from you though - does less rubber worsen your ride?

Edit: That sounds REALLY dirty. I meant rubber tire. Ride as in the vehicle. :cwl:

Actually I've used both and will accept either. I'm not even sure which is which at the moment LOL.

I know one is available from the Ford dealer for only $5, while the FP version is around $14.

Yeah, I love the 20" wheels on the promenade and on smooth stretches of highway but I wouldn't want them if I used the car to commute to work. Too many pot hole riddled roads in NJ and PA. The 20's are impractical if you only have one car. Personally though I have absolutely no regrets regarding this car. Best toy I've ever had!

Wheel like new.. A Shiney and grimey GT350 steering wheel is never good on track..
I think the recommendation came from this site, but the stuff does wonders for Alcantara..
