I say keep the 355 and bring the engine rpm up.
Both!engine RPM as in launch or back half
I wish I was that light, that would be a solid tenth off for me!Still stock battery here, I have used a small one before but becomes annoying. I could remove the back seat and dump the exhaust. Might save another 100lbs probably. Im a heavy guy at 220ish.
I really do like the 3.55. But if the track closes as it seems like it will I won’t have a track within 4hrs of me. So at that point I don’t really have a use for that gear, I’m better off setting it to do best on the street.3.55 is a perfect all around gear. I 100% agree with this. Turn it up in RPM.....
I guess pulley and launch it isBoth!
glass half full/half empty scenario. I was 195 and need to get back to that. For the car and myself lolI wish I was that light, that would be a solid tenth off for me!
Now we're talking!Based on calculator it’s crossing in the neighborhood of 7900rpm. Lol
I was fearing my stock driveshaft and alum diff housing at 10.20. Brace and DSS shaft going in before the next round. My car is a couple hundred pounds more then yours as raced though. I went with 315/50/17 Street R's to cross the line in 6th with my A10. Anything shorter hits 7th before crossing the line. It makes the car equal to a 3.31 gear with 3.55's.Very true. Only problem is closest track is like 5hrs away. No car trailer, stock 1/2 shafts and stock driveshaft. I'm sure you see my dilemma. Lol
Been 8.40s with an alum diff housing and bmr bushing inserts. 10s is fine.I was fearing my stock driveshaft and alum diff housing at 10.20. Brace and DSS shaft going in before the next round. I've seen a few people report cracking the ears off at mid 9's. I do have the Steeda diff brace ready to install for spring. But very good to know!Been 8.40s with an alum diff housing and bmr bushing inserts. 10s is fine.
I sure you can find anything if you look hard enough.I've seen a few people report cracking the ears off at mid 9's. I do have the Steeda diff brace ready to install for spring. But very good to know!
I guess I was just being overly cautious.I sure you can find anything if you look hard enough.
Addressing the next weakest link is a continuous process. For me, it was pretty much at the end if the list.I guess I was just being overly cautious.
Driveline wise, I did the GT350 half shafts first, Now the Driveshaft & Diff support. I don't intend to get quicker than 9's with it so I should be good until the A10 starts slipping.Addressing the next weakest link is a continuous process. For me, it was pretty much at the end if the list.
