Started with the corrosion preventative to extend its life a little :

I used Lanoguard, similar to fluid film for you guys across the pond :like:

Lanoguard is made from lanolin and no joke, my car (and driveway) now smell like sheep / an old farmers Land Rover … :giggle:

I’m not relishing the thought of doing the other corners, but I will get around to them sometime

I will finish with the underfloor, hopefully on the lift at my mates garage :like:

I love using fluid film on any car that will see winter use. Works fabulously.

Put approx 600 miles on between Friday through Sunday. Had a long softball tourney down in Phoenix.

Averaged a little over 21 mpg, renewed my disdain for snowbirds and idiots in congested traffic, scratched my head plenty of times with V6 cars pacing me and then nailing it in said traffic, and was reminded of the significant air density change between 5k' and 1.1k' - car felt powerful enough that it was almost unfamiliar. Freaking loved it.

Personal favorite part: teammate has a newer V6 Camaro and honestly feels like there isn't too many other cars that are as fast from 60-120.
So he rode with me, coming back from lunch and with clear lanes next and in front, turned off TC and let it rip 2nd and 3rd - hasn't said anything since.

I test drove a V6 Camaro and it was severely lack luster in umph. I asked the sales guy if this was a joke.

My new cueball auto shifter from AmericanMuscle came today. The manual shift trim (to make it look more like a stick shift since I hate the non-illuminated display) is still on backorder but I couldn't wait to install the shifter. I am very happy with it. It is not until you remove the stock one that you realize how cheaply made it is.

On the website and in videos it says 1/2 hour to an hour install. It took about 8 minutes.

Just had the black cue ball from American muscle arrive today for MT82.
Can’t install yet. My wife is giving me for Christmas 😁

Swap them out and put the old ball in the new packaging - she will probably never notice and you get to play with it now … :giggle:

I bought new wheels for my bike once only they weren’t new, they were the ‘old ones with new graphics’ … :cwl:

When I was a kid we always found the presents before they were wrapped and tested them out 🤣

Black nuts were on my list from last year :like:

This year, I’m currently on the look out for a RHD specific dead pedal cover - if anyone has got a link please shout up :like:
