I have something similar, although thinner.

Looks great! I chose the thicker foam.. knowing my GF.. I should actually glue it to the doors, just in case. 🤪

It was a particular stupid design by Ford. Some artist drawing in a vacuum and not looking at the results with the door open.

Started with the corrosion preventative to extend its life a little :

I used Lanoguard, similar to fluid film for you guys across the pond :like:

Lanoguard is made from lanolin and no joke, my car (and driveway) now smell like sheep / an old farmers Land Rover … :giggle:

I’m not relishing the thought of doing the other corners, but I will get around to them sometime

I will finish with the underfloor, hopefully on the lift at my mates garage :like:

One more.. door protectors from the big "A" (Garage Wall Protector). It's solid, thick foam and sticks to the wall like "you will never get it off again". Plus last WE my GF opened the passenger door of my former Stang while on the phone, and bang, into the wall the door went.. I was like "huh" ? She didn't even care or notice. Hence the protectors, first thing I ordered that day. 😅

Has anyone seen anything specifically for right angle corner edge protection ?

I have a wall that’s just waiting to catch me out on a windy day … :surprised:

Last week anyway. I'll pick it up Monday. Had my indy replace the Steeda "X" with "H" pipe, Boomba street trans mount. Then all Steeda: active shock/struts, CC plates, min lowering springs, adj sway bars and links frt/rear, stop the hop kit with LCA bushings, sub frame alignment bushings, etc. Oil and filter change too!!

Now the long wait thru winter before I can feel the difference. May go for a few short rides before winter storage. I do have winter wheels/tires to extend the driving season as long as the DON'T salt the &*^$@ out of the roads in northern NY!!

That cover looks burly for a car living inside,... method to your madness?

The car is being stored in a buddy's pole barn. The cover is just a layer of extra protection.

Did a good cleaning inside and out including trunk and engine. It would be nice to wax as well but no garage and 50* weather says 'Nay'. Waiting in the wings... switching to my winter wheels.

I love using fluid film on any car that will see winter use. Works fabulously.

Put approx 600 miles on between Friday through Sunday. Had a long softball tourney down in Phoenix.

Averaged a little over 21 mpg, renewed my disdain for snowbirds and idiots in congested traffic, scratched my head plenty of times with V6 cars pacing me and then nailing it in said traffic, and was reminded of the significant air density change between 5k' and 1.1k' - car felt powerful enough that it was almost unfamiliar. Freaking loved it.

Personal favorite part: teammate has a newer V6 Camaro and honestly feels like there isn't too many other cars that are as fast from 60-120.
So he rode with me, coming back from lunch and with clear lanes next and in front, turned off TC and let it rip 2nd and 3rd - hasn't said anything since.

I test drove a V6 Camaro and it was severely lack luster in umph. I asked the sales guy if this was a joke.
