aluminum. and I really dont know the brand ... its not even on the box.
Mustangdepot.ca was the source. six thumb screws to remove for cleaning.
looked at ABS, and other than the one you see everywhere from $200-500 depending on how gullible the sellers think you are.... better ABS were within $100, though shipping is more for them, as this comes in 2 pieces that slip together (smaller carton)

what I like best is how 'flat' ... mmmmm low? ie how un-bulky it is on the window. some of the ABS units look too chunky to me, though if I coulda bought one locally vs order it - I'd have settled for whatever could find, if pricing was similar to the interweb.

I had a similar issue where the passenger window would randomly short drop while driving. It seems like a common issue after being jumped. Hopefully this was just a fluke I don’t want to pull this damn door panel.

Get some ceramic window tint, makes an insane difference. That looks pretty cool though

I've been extremely happy with Unleashed Tuning. The Steeda tune (it's outsourced to a guy, name escapes me ATM) is also well regarded. Neither gentlemen do the 'screwball' tunes - ghost or popcorn.

I am sure with the right tools and skills it could be fixed up without replacing anything.

A long time ago a guy at work bought e39 M5 which I rode in a few times. It was a few months later he finally admitted how he had manged to pick it up - it was cheap as someone had been murdered in it (shot if I recall correctly) and it had been part of a reasonably high profile police investigation. I would have never have known from sitting in it, looking at it, smelling it etc.
