About a week ago traded the GT in on a Mach-E
GT-perf pack and active exhaust.
Figured some would be curious about comparisons.
Got a dual motor select.
performance not the same as the GT, but still lively
rear doesnt kick out on hard accel, and awd gets all the power to the ground. no...
I use 87 - regular, in the cooler months no problems.
About April i noticed pinging on a nicer day, and am back to 91 for the summer,
perfect now, no pings. (2020GT)
test drove one of these, then signed a deal on it.
gotta wait till July, as its being built this coming week.
Im in the 'its not a mustang' camp.
faster than my GT off the line.
however doesnt have the kick of the GT on the highway.
my understanding is there is a fuel map from Ford, and the ECM also has trim tables, that adjust for changes (fuel grade, altitude, etc) to keep air fuel ratio optimum when in closed loop operation (eg not wide open throttle).
So your O2 sensors will see any variance, and update the trim table...
my first instinct would be to remove both battery terminals.
wire brush both posts and inside both terminal clamps.
assemble, and tighten firm but not overdo it.
then all the other stuff mentioned :)
so ofter fail to start is just dirty or loose battery connections.
but other stuff works ...
Yep - my vote.
Something you can see every time you use it. More rewards there, more often.
Better tires once you wearout the old ones. you can always accelerate their demise :)
Bilsteins on the rear of my V6 made a worthwhile change getting rid of rear end wiggle.
my GT has perf pack, so...
Yep, cops only give you an incident number for insurance, then forget about it.
Had a loss of goods in storage .... insurance had their own private eye that dug into investigating.
dual relay setup.
its always the last thing you touched.
where did you get the relay ... or fan power from?
the pump circuit?
or ... vice versa.
you steal the power from the fans cct to feed the pump and now have 2 fans?
works OK till 2nd fan kicks in?
and inductive loads like...
every time but one i had vibration issues, it wasnt balance - but an out of round tire.
They will balance, but still give you vibration, and changes with speed.
Not saying it isnt driveshaft related as mentioned here - but tires can be oval, eg.
Id run down that possibility if you havent...
89 chev pickup. load in the back, passenger door not fully closed. left turn from stop sign.
while turning 'crack'.
happened on 2 occasions. body flex caused the crack. passenger door not fully closed may have been a contribution.
so it happens.
not the same situation in your case - but...
when engine is cold and rev up a bit taking off from stop, sounds like rattling valves.
once warm, you only very occasionally hear it.
generally its gone once warm, and only the transition just before shifting when cold.
heavier full synth (10-30) which I use in summer makes it disappear...
re legal fees .. at least in Canada you can ask for fees ... however there is a 'factor' applied, and you generally get 15% of legal costs reimbursed.
Not to mention court is the final option. You have to go through discovery, then negotiation, then mediation. Takes about 2-3 years till you...
So ...... looking at the photo, I thought looks like mine.
Took laptop outside and compared ... yup.
2020 GT PP1 Active exhaust. Not a bullit
Dunno if the factory accessories make a diff, but sure looks like a plain GT diffuser
🙃 doesnt mean I still cant be wrong.
Michelin X-ice, stock sizes, torsen diff,
over summers, these tires are unbelievably better. Night and day.
we dont get much snow usually, but cooler temps, my summers had no traction even on dry roads.
In the snow the X-Ices just go ... only thing is to use light acceleration. You'll get a-b...
