No I sold it maybe a few months after I installed everything. The only thing that was strange was the compass but it’s not part of the harness anyway. It doesn’t have to be Mustang specific, all fords used the same harness or at least the pinout is the same as far as I know.
I used the cheap Amazon cables when I swapped to sync 3 in my white 17 gt. I did initially have an issue and had to buy another one but I think the first one was wired incorrectly. In fact I have another harness lying around if you want to try it. I’m probably never going to use it.
Car batteries are trash nowadays. Now a lot of times when a battery is completely drained, it’ll drop a cell. That’s probably what happened. It can show ok voltage while sitting but doesn’t put out the required amperage while cranking.
To reinstall it I’d probably have to glue it. I read the instructions to remove the oem valence and used a plastic panel tool. It wasn’t until after I ripped out a couple of screws I realized the whole thing was screwed on instead of like the oem one that has little clips. With that said, it’s...
Went to swap out the roush lower valence that the po horrendously painted red to an MP concepts one… well that was a fail. The roush one sits higher and was held on with like 10 wood screws so now there’s holes and debris that are visible and block the new valence from being installed. I’m...
I’ve used one of those drill attachments before with great results.
So most of the tape is off the trunk, there’s only like a 1’’ section on each pedestal. I read that fishing line can scratch the paint that’s why I didn’t mention it but if you guys have used it without issue I’ll give it a go...
I’ll probably end up getting a heat gun based on what you guys said. I do have a hair dryer but I didn’t think it would work. How much heat can I use without destroying the paint?
I guess this is more of a de-modding question but the op of my 15 gt installed a spoiler and hood scoop with double sided tape. How can I remove the tape? I know a heat gun will work but I don’t have one. Any other methods?
I had a similar issue with my white 17 gt. Water was getting in around the a pillar near the top of the windshield. I sold it not long after that so I didn’t figure out the issue but it’s one place to look. And check the windows for alignment. I had that car at a body shop once and they screwed...
I had a 2020 F150 with the coyote and 10r80. The transmission was trash. Once I was merging and when I went to hit the gas to downshift it say there for a good five or so seconds without doing anything before it slammed into 3rd and took off. Absolute junk.
Now I know someone with a 2024 F150...
And to add on to my previous post, I think I’m looking for a resonated x pipe with either muffler deletes or go custom. I can’t seem to find anyone who sells just the pipes coming off the midpipe before the pumpkin to where the axlebacks connect. Borla does but it comes with an x pipe that I...
So I pulled the plug next to the intake to see how it would react. It was almost gone. I’m thinking a lot of the issue is the traction control and maybe the clutch. I haven’t owned the car for long but there is a McLeod sticker under the hood so I’m thinking it has a McLeod clutch. Maybe a dual...
I was wrong, it looks like bassani does still make their catback.
I think I’m going to do something one off. I’m looking for a resonated x pipe with muffler deletes or a mid muffler. I’ve heard a couple of videos where the guy mid mounted a single dual in/out flowmaster and an x pipe. It has...
