I made a sheet metal solution and pop riveted it together. Think I posted pics somewhere on 6G. Make a blocker to cover the top of the intake pipe where it comes into the box and that will make a big difference. Was getting tired of the IATs at idle and low speed with my PMAS so started messing around near the factory snorkel to see if I could block off the backwash from the radiator (large gap between radiator and heat shield so it's just sucking in all the hot air from there)
Realized I had a Velossatech snorkel laying around that I never installed, since I ended up keeping my factory grill and didn't want to pull everything apart to install it. Well after some maneuvering I was able to actually pop it over the factor snorkel from inside the engine bay and it seems to block a lot of the backwash. IATs took a lot longer to rise and cooled down a lot faster, definitely a noticeable difference
Threw in a JL box a few months back. One of the best things I ever did (along with the Pedal Commander). I have the base stereo, and this is all I need. To me, it sounds best laying flat as such. It's weight and carpet to carpet keeps it in place. I've thrown my rear end out plenty of times and it's never moved. My subwoofer arrived. JL Audio HO110RG-w3v3 it's a 10" ported enclosure.
I put it in the trunk and snapped a few pics before I froze. The garage was way too cold to hook it up and play. Come on spring!

It fits nicely up against the back seats but I will be working on a way to anchor it to the floor. I will likely install some rivnuts and bolt it down with some vibration dampeners. Still haven't decided because I want to do it in a way so I can easily remove the box if necessary.
I feel your pain... Cleared my driveway today as well.I looked at it longingly sitting in the garage as I went out in the -10 ACTUAL temp to snowblow the drive so my daughter could get out to go to school.....
Couldn't find them in 305/30/19 for the GT Level 2, Mik....

I literally started to look a winter tires the second after my post lol
Sound like the ground hog . LMAOWent in garage and looked at her....looked outside and saw 6 inches of snow....went back inside and cried.....
Good call...hadn't thought about that. The Yellowstone whiskey is slowing my reaction time....It's better to run a narrower tire for snow driving (snow you don't "snowshoe" on top). I have a second set of wheels so I can change out to winter/summer when the weather requires it.
