Just watched this video...
Discusses many aspects of Gen 3 Supercars development from engines, chassis, some corporate stuff, and experience for the fans. Almost like Gen 3 is a "re-birth" of Supercars racing.
Anyway, thought some of you guys might be interested if you have an hour available to...
Didn't buy our 2018 PP2 to be a collector.
We wanted something a little "different" and fun to drive in the summer. It's not a daily driver, and never will be as long as we own it...hopefully forever.
It's not a garage queen, but only gets about 3,000 miles a year on it.
We have no kids, so...
Welcome to the forum, Jerry!
I don't contribute much and I'm not on here as much as most, but I enjoy the interaction, the personalities on here, and there's some good info from all the different experiences everyone has.
Cheers! From Eric
I like your thoughts in regards to 2021, @50 Deep.
I was nodding my head in agreement with pretty much everything you wrote as I was reading through your post.
Everyone in our circle stayed healthy through 2021, business was busier than ever, we did some traveling (a couple of road trips in the...
Agree with you on all of this...
I don't follow any racing too closely anymore, but have always been impressed with the aggressiveness of the Supercars drivers, and the close quarters racing that they do. It seems to me that Supercars is the "rugby" of auto racing.
Making the Mustang it's own brand wouldn't surprise me. I think the only "cars" Ford is planning to keep in production are the Mustang and maybe the Focus(??). Everything else will be SUVs, trucks, and EVs from what I've read.
I'm just a dumb carpenter, though, and in no way as educated on Ford...
I've got a few vehicles I wish I could have kept.
The technology in the new cars is amazing. Like you said, different level altogether.
Enjoy that new ride!
Same scenario when I picked up my PP2 in May of 2018.
Took me a few drives to get the feel of a manual again.
Drove mine Sunday on twisty Alfalfa Market Road between Bend and Prineville, Oregon.
Rowed 2nd through 4th all the way, Gotta love the manual on the twisty roads!
Changed the oil. My buddy has a 4 post lift in his shop, so I didn't have to roll my fat ass around on the floor.
Don't have any pictures to post of the oil changing.
And hopefully no pictures exist anywhere of me rolling my fat ass around on the floor.
Old McKenzie Highway in Oregon (Hwy 242) is a blast if you hit it right. Tons of switchbacks. A lot of slow tourist traffic, but if you catch a break from that, it is spectacular fun. Pictures are from a couple of years ago.
Like others have said, I've got no problem with the Mach-E.
I just think that the out of touch dipshit(s) who decided it would be cool to call it a Mustang need their ass(es) kicked.
