How many 1/4 mile hits have you made on the stock half shafts? Slipping the clutch I presume?
23ish. Not slipping it, but not dumping it either, a kinda in between thing. Still on the stock clutch.

I guess my question is why run a flex but Guage the performance on 93? Flex is for convenience but Guage it on actual e instead of 93.
Yea, my previous comment was tongue in cheek. One needs to do lund 91/93 vs stock tune. As for the Lund 85R tune vs stock, guess you gotta enable the FLEX TAB with forscan or get your tuner to do it with no other changes.

I think on the 18+ cars a 93 tune is worth it on a non drive mode, automatic car and the benefits are from the trans tuning mainly. So a manual isnt really going to see the benefit of tune only other than E

I would like to see some gains, 10-15hp maybe, over stock to entice me to get the tuner and the tune. Then get the additional HP benefits of running flex on various mixes of e85 and premium along with the straight e85 tune. Bottom line is e85 is not as available as premium and you lose 1/3 of your mpg’s. Add that to the cost involved for tuner and tune and I am not convinced at the moment. Maybe a set of lightweight wheels a better investment if you don’t have access to e85?

E 85 is worth 30 to 40 HP. 3 to 4 MPH in the quarter mile.
Same with ms109. And with ms109 you can use the 93 tune. Stoichs are about the same.

Personally I run flex, I don't have to worry about the quality of the fuel I run. The flex tune will learn the fuel if it is consistent, and will run as well as the dedicated tune.

MS 109 is 94 dollars for 5 gallons. I can get E85 for 1.85 a gallon.

Hey Guys,

2017 M/T Mustang GT, Only done Cat-Back exhaust. Wondering if it would be worth it at all getting a Lund Flex-Tune without having the Headers done? Would it be worth Upgrading CAI before the tune?

Any idea what kind of gains would be expected?

For sure worth it, maybe pick up a nice drop in air filter for the stock airbox as well. We sell Lund Racing tunes here at www.lethalperformance.com

MS 109 is 94 dollars for 5 gallons. I can get E85 for 1.85 a gallon.
And I can't get pump E85. So I might as well go ms109. No sense in running E85 when ms109 will yield the same results without the need for another tune. Cheers.

I guess they are all full of it. Austin from Palm Beach Dyno claims 30rwhp gain with 93 on a stock (10 speed, no resonator).

Some much more than others haha. The tuner I use is a no bullshit kinda guy, gives you all the sauce (safely) kinda tuner. 1/2 sec gain over some of the other 'king daddy tuners' haha.

Installed my 91-93 pump gas tune today. Everything went as planned, KnockR stays 0.00 to negative 3 or so when driving hard. Tyler at Lund was quick to respond to every question I sent. Experience so far has been good.

dunno. Don't have a Lund gauge haha. Anyways mine showed 25.5 degrees & -3 knock @ 7200 rpm. Just wanted to see how it compares to Lund. Enjoy your drinks !
