So, tune only (non E85) is worth 11.5 rwhp (430 rwhp vs 441.5 rwhp w/ stock air intake) on an '18+. Not that much, really, by itself.I'll add to that. The E85 tune is just a different animal entirely but the tune overall changed my car up. Though I have a base car so that may be more substantial than those who have upgraded cars.
I don't drag race so I wasn't logging 0-60 times and what not but I can say there were changes in how the car handles on the base 91-93 tune. A10 shifts are much better. The car mechanically works better now. So from an experience perspective, it is a better car. Power wise, I'm going to safely say it isn't going to be a huge change. Though don't take my word for it... from the man himself
The E85 tune picked up another 13.5 rhwp on top of the 93 tune (450.5 w/ 93 tune and JLT vs 464 w/ E85 tune and JLT). So, E85 is worth about 25 rwhp on a mostly stock car, considering the JLT intake was responsible for about 9 rwhp.
But back to the baseline dyno: 430 rhwp on a stock Gen 3 Coyote. Even assuming only 10% drivetrain loss that's 478 crank hp. I think 11% is more realistic, which equates to 483 crank hp (430 / 0.89 = 483). That's plain awesome.
