I appreciate all input. its a large $ I am guessing 1400-1600 bucks. so I like to hear opinions on why and why not. I am taking this into consideration. but man I think they are pretty as of right now
I like the new wheels over the black myself. They stand out better than just giant black dots under the car.

I rebelled - I didn't use ceramic, neither did I pay someone someone else hundreds to do it for me ... lol

Megs Ultimate Quick Wax - Because I had it in the garage, it's quick and it suited the damp conditions that I had to work in.

It plays well with water too, it rained last night :

I will use it as a drying aid over the winter months and put something more fancy on there when the nicer weather returns.

On a cost v benefit basis I think this stuff is great :like:

All paint prep was done by me as I took the car untouched from the dealer - full details in my build thread :like:

WD :like:
I have and use meguiars ultimate wax from time to time. I agree it is good stuff. I could tell it wasn't ceramic. IMO ceramic can not achieve the wet deep look of a good carnauba wax. Sure, ceramic is super durable but the shine mainly comes from the prep work BEFORE the ceramic is applied. Carnuba gives thats special "glow".

Better than getting paint overspray on the ride. She actually did you a favor.

You should hand her the drying towels and tell her to get at it...lol. Then you can go to the fast food restaurant of your choice and get your dinner for the night...lol

The strength of the plate-to-bracket connection won't likely be the vulnerable point. The Sto-n-Sho on my 2018 5.0 PP1 was rendered useless by one careless driveway exit that crushed the splitter-mounted receiver so it was impossible to insert the bracket rods. It took quite a bit of drilling and grinding to rehabilitate the union. Beware.
Thanks man, I appreciate the info.
I only use the bracket for when I have to get the yearly state inspection and then it comes right off. :)
