Finally got it installed yesterday and all is good, zero NVH at any speed, car pounces like a cheetah and pulls like a raped ape lol. Existing gains from my lightweight Eradispeed rotors and 23 lb SVE r357 wheels seem to have been compounded by addition of this DS.

Pros:
Increase acceleration, rpms rack up faster every gear. handling and braking seemed to improve as well. Zero NVH actually feels more quiet than stock. And traction believe or not has also improved for some reason.

Cons:
Only downside is engine braking seems to be harsher now with all my lightened drivetrain components

So if you can wing it definitely worth the ($)

Nice to hear. This DS seems to be the only one that I have not seen a single bad remark about. I'll be going with the SFI unit in my MT82 car.

What did you mean by 'harsher'??? Maybe you meant stronger? Just curious. Please elaborate on that, because there shouldn't be any other differences IMO. Thx.

It’s actually not so bad at speed since the car rev matches. I was just talking about when you’re not on the throttle when the car is just creeping forwards really slow and it downshifts you can feel it jerk more now. Same thing when it upshifts.

For my 2018 a10 weight savings was 10.5 lbs counting all the bolts.
ld be a total of 20lbs lighter. Stock driveshaft is 40-42lbs. QA-1 is 20. Does something weigh more than stock once installed that adds 10lbs? Also curious how many miles you e put on it so far?

You may be referring to older gens 1/2 which have steel driveshafts, the 18+ I believe are lighter I weighed my a10 d/s at 31.x lbs.

so far I’ve put 500 miles and still running smooth as silk.

Very nice. But I want to hear 10k mles. Let’s be honest here unless we are building race cars only normal to higher mileage is all that matters otherwise you’ll have a $1500 investment that has to be made possibly 200 miles from home if one could even be gotten at that point. I’ll have to check in next summer lol.
