Car needs replacement wastegate actuator - can be 'several weeks'

On the work order from the dealership does it list any codes?

When I asked, the dealer gave me a vague response - so I just said give me my damn car so I can take it to someone who knows what they're doing. Coastal Dyno said they're gonna look at it tomorrow and should have some answers.

After the first few days, I asked if I can just take her home and wait on the part, the dealer said it'd "close the work order" and didn't give me a 100% answer on how it would affect the whole thing. So I said fuck it, I'll leave her there - it's right across the street from me. The keys were kept with the manager and she was brought inside everyday.

Yeah, Sam seems to know his shit and was very straight forward. Thanks for the invite, I doubt she's going to be fixed by then but I'll stop by if she's ready.

The part should still be on order. I would call and verify/make sure that happens. you still have an issue, still need a part, and its still under warranty. Just because its in your vs their possesion, doesnt change any of those

Yeah, I made sure the dealer verified 100% this part would still be on order before I picked her up yesterday. Turns out the actuator was perfect and it was a bad map sensor. At this point I'm not gonna bother taking her back to the dealer, just going to have Sam at Coastal take care of it and be done with it. Should have a replacement coming in tomorrow, almost as happy as I was the first day I got her lol.

Even better news, MG and do hope you're cruising real soon. I'm sure I'm not alone thinking that the issue was probably something other than the actuator. Dead MAP sensor fills the bill.

Yeah everyone was saying the same thing. I just hope I have her back for the 4th of July weekend, not even the BLM can stop me from enjoying it Lol.
