I asked about a Ti roll cage a long time ago. I was told Ti is not an approved material. I wound up having custom fabricated cromolly cages made as this was the lightest approved materials.

From the scca rules:
H. The roll bar hoop and all braces must be of seamless or DOM mild steel tubing (SAE 1010, 1020, 1025) or equivalent, or alloy steel tubing (SAE 4130). For cars logbooked before 1/1/16, existing ERW tubing is acceptable.

I had manufactured a roll bar that usually weighs 70+ pounds and was able to get it down to 40 pounds.

Its a shame Ti couldn't be used.
Yeah, but rules are rules and CM is a great metal.

I like to disassemble things.
Regarding install, front and rear glass gets removed and perimeter spot welds need to be drilled out. Fiber replacement roof needs to be bonded in place and you may see rivets, etc, to hold it in place while curing. The GT4 Mustang from Multimatic utilizes a CF roof panel.

Thank you. I am going to talk to a local shop this week as well as SA and hopefully land in a direction shortly.

Appreciate you chiming in.

It does look nice, but man that's allot of work. Does the OEM headliner fit on it or do you have a new one made or do you go without,?. Thanks

It looks great, but I'm too chicken....
Figure this fall I’ll get deep into a couple Or 3 bottles of wine and pull the trigger. That looks really sharp.

It’s a ton of work. The rear glass and windshield need to be taken out the top layer of the roof needs to be cut off and this cf piece would replace it. And then clear coated prior to install I assume and the windshield and rear window then needs to be reinstalled. To say it’s a lot of work is an under statement for something that if it gets dented or scratched bad is unrepairable and requires replacement. So the roof is about $2500 and labor is how much? Probably a total of $5-$6k for what with the price of the roof factored in. That mod is not something worth it when you’re only going to possibly notice it parked.
