Wow, that’s ambitious! I have not seen this one before. You would certainly be the first one I have seen with that mod.

Would match my GTR Pro. Big fan of carbon fibre.

Jammed a sunroof on my ‘88 notch back 5.0l when I was a kid. Figure this is similar haha

So you would have to cut the roof off at the pillars, and bolt on this CF Roof to the pillars. I mean if it is 100% roof replacement. Or is it just a roof insert where you cut a large hole in the roof and seal the CF to it. Just don't get this one. But hey, it's only money, you live only once, why not. Go For it and post your install.

Full roof replacement. Looks like it bolts in from the photos.

Certainly wasn’t looking for this but stumbled across it when searching carbon fibre replacement pieces.

The front splitter and side skirts should have come cf imo

If you are not doing a full cage this is absolutely pointless. Im doing it over winter with cf doors so i can do wheel to wheel racing

Now that makes more sense. Excellent for racing. You can get titanium roll cage and save wait also. Good luck.

That’s great man. Just finished installing a TiKT carbon fibre roll cage in my GTR Pro. Spend a lot of time at the track with it and plan on doing the same with the GT500.

Be curious your thoughts on the install.

My New edge has a carbon fiber roof, they are sexy and a lot of work to install. Love to see one on a 500.

The trunk, roof, hood and grill are all made by HCM aka sigala. The fit is good and the body shop that did the paint work put a really thick clear coat on it to help protect it from UV.

I asked about a Ti roll cage a long time ago. I was told Ti is not an approved material. I wound up having custom fabricated cromolly cages made as this was the lightest approved materials.

From the scca rules:
H. The roll bar hoop and all braces must be of seamless or DOM mild steel tubing (SAE 1010, 1020, 1025) or equivalent, or alloy steel tubing (SAE 4130). For cars logbooked before 1/1/16, existing ERW tubing is acceptable.

I had manufactured a roll bar that usually weighs 70+ pounds and was able to get it down to 40 pounds.

Its a shame Ti couldn't be used.
