A "really cold day" in Georgia is t-shirt weather.
Believe it or not, the mean minimum temp during the winter months in Atlanta is 21-25F. That is definitely not T-shirt weather.

Not me!!
Here in NC, in the mountains, we don't have the winters like we used to.
Then;
Snow and COLD for weeks at a time;
Salt, Brine and ice on the roads.
Now;
Sometimes, I can get the Mustang out for a spin on dry, clean roads;
Sometimes it stays in for weeks........
Yup Asheville here. the winters here have been mild. can definitely get the stang out like once a week if not more. Got a feeling this winter will be different though.

I ride my car all through Chicago winters with a set of blizzaks. I've got not quit in me. Or any sense for that matter.

Hope you dodge the hail storms okay. I don't live there but work has me in the springs often enough to make it a second home. LOVE Colorado! I was there for 3 months at the start of this year and saw plenty of cars with hail damage from the bad storm a bit ago.

And I have winter wheels/tires on the car now and will drive it nice and easy in any snow.
Yeah the hail here can be rough. My 65 coupe was totaled back in the day from one of the big storms!

Yep, year round on snow tires. Snow tires on just about any car will out perform 4x4's. Its not just about getting going, also need bite to steer and stop. Part of the reason why I got my car was because I hated putting the motorcycle away for the winter.

I take good care of my car, but the fact is a 2016 GT is never going to be worth more than its worth right now. There is no point in keeping it new for the next guy.

I’ve DD a mustang years ago, did it with 7 years with. 3-4x washes weekly throughout the winters. It took its toll regardless. Maybe other parts of the US don’t have as harsh as road salt compound as Minnesota / Illinois has but I shutter at the fact of seeing pony cars, sport cars, and upper luxury cars on the round in the dead of winter.

There is a slight chance I could drive in the snow. Since I was born in 1984 we have had snow touch the ground twice I believe in the winter. Could happen again.

This is my only car so yeah, I'll be driving it this winter. I'll have to get some winter tires pretty soon.
