If you would learn to write in a more direct manner maybe people could understand you but when you type... like this... and change... perspectives... between "..." mid sentence it's a little difficult to follow your already barely discernable posts. Yes there are a very large number of different issues. No they are not occuring at the crazy alarming rates everyone here is trying to portray.

I find it humorous that the two members complaining of issues don't own even 2015 Mustangs...

I do not think that people realize how Manufacturing is done to tolerances, the tighter the tolerances the higher the price to achieve them! If you look for something you will almost certainly find it! Personally if there were something rubbing or not closing properly, I would go get it fixed. But too many of these issues are people expecting millimeter level tolerances which is probably asking for too much.

A "handful" of cars? Really. Maybe not at your dealership. But, there is certainly much more than a handful of reports right on this sight. Way more. And out of all your cars on the lot you can't find loose leather in any one of them? I doubt you even looked and used your hand to pull on the leather...like I have and got a bunch of loose leather and nothing underneath. There are plenty of them already reported, in warranty for re-work...and pics of those before and after.

And, you don't have to currently own a '15 to know there are many issues that make up a long list of problems and failures. I have a '14 GT Prem. that is close to perfect. No car is. Owned 8 other GT's, Cobra Mustangs and a Saleen. I know Ford quality. 2 new trucks too. That is part of the over 60 vehicles I have owned.

I have had 2 long phone conversations with a Regional Sales Mgr....they don't normally if ever talk to a customer....but, they realized, my GM and him that I know what I'm talking about. He even owns a '15 'vert.

He knows of the many issues. It's just not talked about..much! He confirmed what I discussed with him about body panel alignment issues with the new aluminum F-150. They are trying to keep it on the "down low" as the Mustang issues.

So, handful....no. Won't buy that one at all. Give me $100 for every Mustang over a "handful" that has problems around this country and I'd be rich!!!

You mentioned something about been driving for almost 50 years or something along that line. My dad is in his 60's and he would not be on a forum typing these types of responses. Back on ignore...

There's no way we can actually tell how widespread the issues are. We can sit here and guess that people on forums are vocal minority, but it's not like we're polling the entire population of 2015 mustang owners. Also, a lot of people are oblivious. I still see people posting on reddit with their brand new cars but don't even realize the alignment of the body panels and glass is out of wack.

I don't know what's normal. This is my first car and my first time being a part of forum like this. To me it seems like the Mustang got off to a terrible start, but that's not to say it won't recover very quickly. If one or two months of production was bad there's still 10 months of good production out of the year. I'm still in the process of getting my car up to snuff but after that ... knock on wood.

My leather seats are fine. I've got plenty of seat time too. I don't care if my leather is loose or has wrinkle lines. That's leather seats, IMO. Plenty of exotic cars seats are worn the same. In fact, sometimes that's the only thing that looks used. Leather changes over time. As long as it doesn't rip or prematurely fade to a gray, I'm good.

I've been fortunate enough to have owned more than 50 vehicles in my lifetime...

I'm very picky...so I've learned 3 easy steps to happy vehicle ownership...

1) Away inspect the vehicle for at least 15 minutes before you write the check...inspecting it under florescent lights to look for paint & panel flaws is always a good idea...drive it down a bumpy & uneven road to listen for rattles...squeak...etc...

2) If you have many warranty issues...work directly with the service manager to resolve your problems...additionally...be polite & professional thru the whole repair process...being impolite & rude never solves anything!

3) If the vehicle never lives up to your standards...sell it...or trade it...and find a vehicle you enjoy & trust!

FYI...I'm very pleased with workmanship on my 2015 Mustang...not much to complain about at this point...a few minor paint flaws...but it's not a 100K vehicle...

I am a Sales Manager at a Ford dealership and own a 15 GT/PP. I have 1,2xx miles on my GT and have had no issues. We sell about 25-30 Mustangs a month and currently have about 30 in stock. Each vehicle is inspected for scratches, dings, dents, fender alignments etc... when they are delivered to the dealership. Since the very first Mustang arrived last November I personally know of only two issues, both of which were caused by the transporters. A tear in the rear bumper's air defuser from loading on to the trailer and a dent on the hood from the transport driver's chains. I have yet to see any major alignment issues.

That being said, if there are any issues...Ford Motor Company with make it right.

I wouldn't halt or postpone my Mustang purchase just because there are a handful of vehicles that need extra attention.

Inspect your vehicle before you sign on the dotted line. If you have an issue let your salesman / sales manager know. We all want the customers to be 100% satisfied with their purchase.

Please ignore the rude posters on this forum...I think most are very happy with their 2015 Mustang purchase...even if they have a few warranty claims...

I've purchased many expensive vehicles in my lifetime...and I think the 2015 Mustang is an absolute automotive bargain!
