There's nothing dangerous about this car. I find it pretty predictable, even with the nannies off. I feel this rep comes from younger people buying used S197's and not having the skills to control them. I'd have to boost this car to feel sketch to me because 460hp doesn't really seem that much...
I've put nearly 35K miles on my 18 and the only thing that's had to be replaced is the battery. I think the PS4S is quite good in the rain, especially for a high performance tire. I have the PP1 so I can't say how base cars handle but while fairly heavy, the car is predictable and fun on...
Depends on what kind of sound you are looking for. If you want a deeper sound then a h-pipe and Magnaflow might be what you want. Corsa and x-pipe will have much higher pitched sound. Roush has a very aggressive sound. I like the Borla S type.
I suggest you go on YouTube and listen to...
I'd definitely say the Voodoo is the best. It has a snarl like no other engine out there. Sort of exotic sounding. Next, I'd say the Coyote, especially with a Borla or Corsa exhaust. Third, I'd got with the Terminator and that maniacal whine. After that, I really like the sound of the FP or...
Flowmaster Outlaw is loudest I've heard. With that H-Pipe, it would drone like hell on the highway, though. You might think about some glasspacks if you want to save some money. They'd be loud.
I'd rather have the ZF, with those nice big paddles. The manual they offer in Europe doesn't seem to be that great, anyway. The 17's and early 18's had software issues but they seem to have worked most of that out, now. The powertrain has always been solid. The M3 is a nice car but the Alfa has...
I don't find the M4 or M3 to be very compelling vehicles at all. I'd rather have a M2 Comp over the M4 and spend the difference on a Dinan tune and some suspension upgrades.
I'd rather have a Giulia QV over the M3. The Alfa is better looking, has a more engaging engine and has that super quick...
A couple more years at least. I've been eying used M2 Comp's and Giulia Quadrifoglio's but this car is fun and easy to live with so I might just keep it.
If you don't plan to drive your car in light snow then the AS4's would probably give you better performance. I've driven my car in snowy and icy roads with no problem with the Conti's. They are much better in slippery conditions than the Hankook Ventus S1 noble2's I had on my 15 despite being...
I can't comment on the AS4's but I have the DWS06's and they definitely have less grip than the stock PS4S's but they've been great in winter conditions here in KC. They also have much less road noise. I have a set of SVE 19x10's that I will put some PS4S's on for the summer.
Lamborghini Huracan Performante in Grigio Titans. Total package. Stunning looks, amazing performance and that NA V10 sounds wonderful. I couldn't afford to maintain, though. Closest I'll get to an Italian exotic would be a Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio.
A pro-touring 67 GT500 would be high on...
I owned two Firebird Formula's in the past and I've always loved TA's, but these cars don't really interest me. I'd rather have a 1st gen or early 2nd Gen restomod.
