The clearcoat is too damn soft. No matter what I do I always manage to scratch up my Shadow Black Mustang.

I only do touchless washes using the best products and towels. I use a two bucket grit guard + foam cannon + blow dryer method. Never fails, the clearcoat is scratched up after detailing. This year I even went ahead with paint correction + gyeon 9 year ceramic coating. It looked amazing, I refused to touch it for a month. First wash, scratches.

When you pull the lever to fold the front seat forward to allow someone to agonize in the backseat but you have to hold the button forward to move the seat. It takes FOREVER.

My engine makes a ticking noise and I can't figure out where it's coming from.

Trade your Mustang for a Camaro, you deserve one.
Well, the Camaro does have hood struts instead of a prop rod :D

This is easy:

Traction Control!

I would say over 80% of so-called driver error and 100% of cars&coffee peel out crashes are traction control coming in and doing its thing without driver consent. An absolute kill switch with memory so it never gets activated again would save vehicles and save lives. It isn’t any good in snow, leaves you stranded in the middle of a snowy hill while spinning the tires gets you all the way up the hill. The system is total and complete garbage in my opinion. Kept in place by those Ford lawyers that only care about criminal and tort liability and not the best interests of the consumer.

And while we are at it - get rid of ABS or another kill switch that keeps it off permanently, another idea good drivers don’t need. It’s a performance car remember...
Those folks running over curbs are the ones who turn traction control off because they think they know better.

ABS can do things that even the best driver can't, like apply the brake to individual wheels.

I've noticed this too, the audio quality seems to be subpar to just Bluetooth music over my phone, and USB is even slightly better than bluetooth, especially if you get some good quality mp3's on it. With all the music streaming services available now, I'll just keep my data plan beefy and not use XM honestly. Besides, Spotify knows my music tastes better than I do it seems.
Agreed. The audio quality sucks. This is due to the limited bandwidth and the inexplicable need for Sirius/XM to push a bazillion crappy channels through it. Either launch more satellites or reduce the number of channels so that each has more bandwidth. I'll be canceling my audio subscription this week when it runs out.

I added a Bluetooth module to my wife's car so I can cancel that one too. It will be nice to be rid of the semiannual game with their customer service to keep a reasonable rate.

You can roll up the windows from the outside using the keyfob. Press the lock button once, then press it again and hold until the windows start to go up. You can roll them down the same way with the unlock button.
This works for rolling them down, but not for rolling them up. Does your Mustang roll up your windows with the key fob? Maybe it's a Premium option.

I am mistaken. Could have sworn they went back up too. I just tried it and you're right... only DOWN works. I wonder if this is something that can be enabled with Forscan. My 2014 Fusion has both up and down functions. Why not the Mustang? :headbang:

I hate that every time I try to drive at 72mph with my cruise on some asswagon in a Prius has to try and mess with me so I can't just stay at the same speed. Just leave me alone.
There is ALWAYS some asshole that has to pull in front of you just as you are enjoying your trip with the cruise engaged. I swear it never fails.

That's why adaptive cruise for the win. Just set it to 95 (or whatever the max is) and stay between the lines.

It's power that matters, not size. If they can get the same power out of a smaller engine thanks to the efficiency of modern technology like DI then there is no reason to make the engine bigger.
I agree that power is most important. I want more of that power thing, though. And I have no problem with technology as long as the finished product is reliable and inexpensive. If we can have a cheaper to build and less expensive to buy Mustang that has 600+ hp using technology versus going to a 6 or 7 liter engine, bring on the technology.

On the other hand, if our cars can be less expensive and make more power - I would buy that car over a high tech tour de force that makes 600+ hp but costs more than what we are already paying.

Don't have this issue with my 19 ..but one of the flaws I absolutely could not stand on my 15 that was horrible bumper cover side bracket that would snap off from taking the bumper cover off .
