Yeah, I love those notchback 5.0's. I tried to get one back in the day but they were out of my budget.

I'm all about protection!...and I don't just mean the Glock 20 (10mm) riding along!

In fact, every thing I've bought for the car up until now, aside from the Steeda clutch spring, has been to protect it.

JLT Oil Separator
Steeda Jacking Rails
Big order from Chemical Guys
Factory all weather floor mats
Grit Guards
Foam Cannon/MF Towels/MF Mitts

And next on the list is a dash cam setup.

After having dealt with and currently dealing with Ford's Service dept, I don't want a fucking thing to happen to this car so it needs fixing!!

Another guy with a well-defined road course/track day outlook checking in. Because it's strictly cornering-performance centered it doesn't line up all that well with the categories as originally defined. For me, it looks like this ↓↓↓.

Cosmetics: as defined, no interest.
Performance: as defined, very little interest.
Electronics: no interest unless it's specifically to support track day activity.
Safety & Durability: I can't really separate these from cornering performance and track day driving or even from each other, so I guess these categories are as close as you got.

Stock guy.

My car is perfect the way it is. The only mod I've done is wheels/snow tires and Steeda jacking Rails. FWIW, I've got a kid in college sucking my wallet dry. I'm lucky I have the car.

Cosmetic guy / gal? Stripes, spoilers, louvers, tint, stance, etc...? 30%

Performance guy / gal? Intake, exhaust, turbo, super, etc... ? 20%

Electronics guy / gal? Tuner, lights, sound system, etc... ? 50%

The reason I went and brought a Lefty, when they are being sold in the UK, is for all the tech, that is on the US cars but not the European cars, I love my tech maybe because I work with tech all day

Not done many mods
Undersealing
Gt350r wheel to my own specs
Steeda lowering springs
spacers
calibers painted red
Borla axleback sport

that will do for me, I might get a catch can, but not sure i need it

Eh. My Mustang is a daily driver that also does occasional track duty. In AutoX I'm limited as to the modifications I can do within my class, so I've not really pursued much in the way of suspension. 435 horsepower is also more than enough to make things challenging on a tight course, so I haven't bothered with power upgrades; until I'm able to fully exploit the power I have, adding more doesn't help anything.

When I bought my Mustang I got a really good deal, but the caveat was that I didn't get a color I wanted. For that reason I have stripes, which makes the car much more attractive in my eyes. I've done some subtle cosmetic mods (wheels, side marker tint, etc.) but I don't want to be that guy with a "look at me!" car (which is also why I still run the stock exhaust).

If there's anything I've chased, it's eliminating the goddamn rattles from the interior. That's an ongoing project, and it's made me really upset with Ford's quality control.

Performance. Suspension and Braking specifically. Always have been, likely always will be. Kinda bought a shit platform for that, but whatever.

Another of my things is that, like most of you, I don't particularly like others driving or working on my vehicles. However; instead of letting them do it and then worrying about it while they have it/inventing and crying over scratches they allegedly caused I simply don't let others touch or work on my cars. Do it yourself if you're so picky, complaining that others work isn't up to your standards is absolutely hilarious to those of us who do work to our own standards. I know, I know.. you don't have a garage/tools/lift/etc but you're full of excuses and complaints. We get it.
