Hi. I think it is really not much different at idle. The tips are awesome and accelerating with the windows open is louder and deeper. Sounds nice, like it could be stock. No, I didn't remove the resonator. I can't stand drone which I had with several other Mustangs. No drone at all. Cruising in cabin. No increase. Accelerating with windows up in cabin a bit louder, but maybe not loud enough for some folks. From my previous cars, X pipes almost always create a raspy sound and maybe drone. I can't comment on that on the S550. If you go to AM or CJ Pony, they have exhaust video clips.
Thanks for your reply and input, yes been on AM and CJ and YouTube listining, but as you know... it just not the same as Live Music. Lol....
Going to start with the X pipe, seeing as I have it, keep the resonator just incase I want to revert back. See how that sounds, but from your input, sounds like the touring is right for me.
Not looking to wake the neighbors. ... just a little more gowel and I guess the X will rasp it up a bit to.

I've got the FR Touring axleback also, and it's a nice subtle bump. I didn't want any rasp whatsoever, so the resonator stayed. Zero drone.

Sounds even better outside the car when you're not driving, lol.

Dropped it off at the dealership to have the driver's rear hub bearing replaced under warranty. This is the 3rd time in as many weeks I have had it in for work.

Finished covering the knee pads with leather.
I've been thinking about getting the same thing, but blue. Easy install?

Drove some more with the Steeda clutch assist spring and got used to it pretty quick. It's not stiff, just firm, and it really does give a better sense of the release point than the original clutch system. 20 bucks well spent.

Gave her a big sloppy kiss as I got into the truck to drive to work because it was raining outside and I washed and waxed the Mustang a couple days ago.

Ford racing suspension, tower brace and short throw shifter.
Enormous difference.
Very happy, now it feels like a performance car.

After seeing some of the trouble people had dealing with the front sway bar and lack of proper tools of my own, I had Steeda install the adjustable front and rear sway bars for me today along with 1/4" spacers to bring the rear up just a tad, so it looks more balanced front to rear, and the subframe alignment kit.

Definitely want to give SteedaTech (Mike), Matt, and Rod a huge thanks for taking care of me today with a quick turnaround.

Always good working with them!

Can't give any real impressions just yet because it was a quick drive home in rush hour traffic, but was definitely happy going through some empty turns.

I hated the way the 2018 engine cover looked, (like the 2015-17 ), so I decided to dress it up a little
Looks much better but I cannot stand it so I removed my completely. I like the spaghetti bowl look better than that cover although yours is much much better.

I replaced my factory resonator with the Borla resonator which is effectively a h-pipe inside and it give a perfect deep rumble through my Ford Performance quad pipes. I did try an x-pipe first but wasn’t a big fan of the Euro raspy sound

So you notice any injector noise with it off?
