Exposure maybe? As an installer Whipple offers a great set up, but it's not the only thing we will tackle or sell, We have some in house developed packages that work fantastically as well.

All you have to do is search the forums and look at reviews the roush supercharged Mustang has nothing but issues.

I'll definitely agree with you that the Roush tune sucks. But saying there blower isn't as efficient as the "others", what do you mean by that, what "others"? Whipple? Of course Whipple will be more efficient, it's a compressor, and not an air pump like the roots blowers.

I hope you're not referring to the Ford Racing or VMP blowers (they're the exact same as the Roush...2.3L Eaton TVS, they just all have different labeling on them, but they're all the same exact blower)

Vmp is like an improved Roush. Tuning as well everyone says Roush's tune leaves a lot to be desired.
This...but i sure wouldn't kick one outta my garage. I'd just let lund or the like tune it for me

The VMP is most assuredly not the exact same. The ROTOR PACK is but the case is absolutely unique. You should research more before providing a blanket statement to a new comer.

This. The VMP flows much better than the Roush blower does. I believe VMP even offers an upgrade for cars that have the Roush blower... At least they used to. It was a new case and you just installed the rotor pack from the Roush blower.

I recently had the Ford Performance Roush 670hp Supercharger installed. It's unbelievable. Very drivable, but when you step on it, instant power. I have a perf pack with 3.73 gears and just put Nitto NT555r's 305/35/20 on it because the MT Street Comps (waste of money) would not begin to grip. Not really knowing what to expect, it really impressed me. No complaints. Took my friend for a ride and his first words after getting on it were, "I don't remember this thing throwing me back so hard". I told him it was a new tune and tires. Lol lol. Very fun and manageable. I like the warranty options. Super shout out to Ruben at Ken Grody Ford. They installed my supercharger and I couldn't be happier!!!!

On its way
I was deterred from a roush phase 2 purchase because it went on a 4 month backorder. Went Whipple, and have been happy I did.

Lots of great systems out there. I run the roush Ford racing tvs with 670 hp roush tune. I've had zero issues and have the power train warranty too. Dyno'd 593 hp, manual trans 3" Borla catback and 20" RTR wheels.

I can understand why people say the tune is too conservative because it is, to keep it safe and honor their warranty. You can upgrade the tune to aftermarket but it will cost you about a grand and void the warranty.

To do it over again I'd still consider roush along with the vmp tvs and whipple. I've ran centri style blowers before and didn't care much for them. IMO.
