I bought the car new in Nov '14 and installed the VMP at 30k. It's been my daily driver the entire time and has 87k on it now. I guess it was expected to happen at some point. I've taken it to the drag strip a few times but never on a tire. Funny enough I just bought my VMS drag pack last week...
I think I've finally found the noise coming from the rear end of my car. 15 GTPP, Gen 2R, 625/550 whp, factory 3.73/Torsen. What would the masses suggest as a replacement. I'm seriously considering a 3.31 pumpkin swap. I'd love to hear from other that have done it. I'll just need FORSCAN at the...
Okay, so hereās an update:
Mufflers and Roush rear valance installed. They fit perfectly together.
***GT350 ACTUATORS DO NOT FIT THE 18-19 GT MUFFLERS. ***
Next order of business is to source some actuators. Please excuse the incredibly dirty car and my friend who did the start and rev for me.
Havenāt decided. First order of business is to make sure they physically bolt in place. Personally Iām okay with āon/off.ā I will see if I can figure out how they work internally and then decide how I want them wires.
Ordered this GT350 actuators. Will report back when they come in. This will be to retrofit on my ā15 GT so Iām not worried about plug ān play functionality.
Mufflers (that surprisingly include the actuators) and harness extensions.
Note that the mufflers themselves are different depending on active or non-active.
After watching Yoloās latest video.....Iām intrigued to try an ā18 MT-82 and stock twin disc and keep the 3.73 out back. Similar gearing to a Magnum T-56 with instant bolt-on ability and I can keep my MGW.
Justin doesnāt do the tuning on the S550s (to the best of my knowledge). Thatās for Joe and Alex to do.
My experience was excellent with VMP. Would recommend them a million times over.
