Exactly, does it really matter who's F I system you're using HP is HP. IMO they are all good. I just didn't understand the "show you the difference"
I didn't say anything in regards to FI systems, just your comment about 670ho is still 670hp. In the real world 670hp is actuall under 600rwhp depending on the dyno.

I want to expand that thought. Roush , Whipple , Pro Charge they all advertise crank HP. But agin it's how the individual gets it to the Rear wheels the ground and hook up) efficiently as possible is the difference. That has nothing to do with brand. Yes they all have some minor differences in their tunes most of which unless you're a professional driver would never realize.
I guess I will start referring to crank HP then. Since the below whipple kit advertises 825hp, I must be around 875hp

Don't take this the wrong way. I understand horse power numbers are great but if you can't put it down to the ground means nothing. Plus it seams with all the extra power Whipple makes you need to upgrade half shaft driveline and other suspension much to put the power down. Which makes the car a super monster but fot me a low 11's high 10's capable car is pretty awesome and more then enough for me. I haven't seen a supercharger or Turbo yet that doesn't work great with these cars. I wanted a warranty to sleep at night. If I wanted monster power it would have been a Whipple.

You should upgrade the half shafts on any FI 2015 Mustang. Putting the power down isn't difficult with the right tires. Another issues that all FI cars should deal with is deflection in the IRS. A call to BMR can fix that.

I got my BMR lock out kit installed. Half shafts not there yet. Might see the track couple times a year. The rest is cruising around. I should pick up my car today. See how that goes.

The lock out kit is nice! BK055 helps a lot too. Launching on the track is where you can run into issues with the stock half shafts. I know someone who broke DSS 800s at the track. I bent a FR half shaft. But, DSS is taking care of the guy who broke the DSS 800. Hearing his experience with them, Inwould recommend DSS over FR. It took FR 3 months to warranty my half shaft.

No idea car had 1.9 miles on it before blower, Springs, exhaust, lockouts, wheels and tires are installed. I think I have to drive a stock 1 then mine right away to notice a difference

I'm not trying to be facetious here, but I don't understand. If it states 825 HP, then it's 825 HP at the crank, correct? I'm more than positive it does. Maybe I'm wrong?
I don't know what you mean that you must have 875HP then? That specific kit doesn't advertise to have more than 825 HP. Maybe with supporting mods you may have more then 825 HP.
Like I said, I'm not being facetious at all, just curious. If I don't ask, I don't learn, right? :)
Thank you.

I said 875hp because I have a smaller pulley than what comes with that kit plus larger injectors, BAP and catless headers. The 825hp whipple kit will put down to the wheels around 670rwhp to 700rwhp. It just depends on the dyno and temp. A true test of power is trap speed. I haven't been able to make it to the track yet. I made a mistake in the clutch that I bought. I tried to stay away from ceramic disc and the clutch that I went with sucks. It was rated at 605 torque and I thought that it would hold since they claimed 40% over stock. Yet, it won't let me shift over 6500 and it is slippig after only 1000 miles. My stock clutch never slipped. I'm installing a Mcleod RXT this Sunday with doodguy.

The HP talk mentioned above was just simply stating that Roush uses crank hp and Whipple uses rwhp. That is a big difference. My car makes 765 rwhp at 7500 rpm and using the industry standard of 15% drivetrain loss (wether accurate or not) that puts me at 900 crank hp for a kit that was advertised 670 rwhp. Now, I do have long tubes with cats and am using the Whipple tune with 72 injectors.

So basically you have to compare Roush 670 crank hp to Whipple 670 rwhp. Big difference.

Going Whipple over Roush does not automatically mean you have to upgrade anything. It's a matter of should and honestly anyone who adds FI should upgrade some suspension mainly 1/2 shafts.

People with NA motors have snapped the stock 1/2 shafts

I think I got it now.
So, Whipple states rear wheel HP as opposed to crank HP when writing up their description of their kits listed posted above. So, that kit puts out 825 rear wheel HP? That's insane!

With a M6 car I agree the halfshafts should be replaced right off the bat.

With an A6 car the halfshafts shouldn't need replacing unless it's a dedicated drag car with 800+ RWHP and you are trying to pedal it on drag radials and getting wheel hop.

I can agree with that. Auto's are much much easier on the driveline.

No, he's saying to do what Roush does and claim crank hp the his Whipple is making 825 crank hp.

Example my Whipple kit was advertised 670 rwhp

That converts to 788 crank hp (what Roush uses)

I'm making 765 rwhp with long tubes WITH cats, Whipple tune with their 72# injectors. So I should be saying I'm making 900 crank hp compared to Roush 670 crank hp.
