Absolutely! Same reason folks go to 331 gears. To get the better launch and extended gear. However, with the Whipple your still gona light those tires up in the first couple gears with or without headers.

There are alternatives out there with inspections. These taxes are a killer out here. If not for my wife i wouldn't live here....I'd buy more toys! Hahahahaha
hahaha I hear ya brother! I just don't like the alternatives. They are not a sure thing. Other than maybe the Kooks green cats.

Agreed. All around, from what I have heard, Ken's tunes are very good. I am just saying that more power, more timing = less safe. But it certainly doesn't mean Ken would set you up for failure either. Going from Lund or Whipple, to Ken, is to get more power out of your tune. If the idea is max power, with a good tune.. he seems to be the man!
I have only seen more power than Whipple when on E85 unless i missed a thread.

You're talking dyno numbers. I am talking tune. The tune is more aggressive. You're right. I dont know if the numbers are higher. But the tune is set to be more aggressive typically. Hence, "should" make more power.

I seen Ken's tune make more than another tuners. Not sure I seen it compared to Whipple, but my guess is it does, and someone will chime in who has seen or has done it.

With Whipple tho if you want more power just add octane and it will keep adding timing.

I'm gonna be 93 all the time. In not into enough to go get e85 or 109 somewhere. I want to drive my car as fast as it really is all the time. If I ever have an encounter(never happens unless I'm in a minivan or something) , I can't really say "hold on, I have to change my tune and go get some 109" hahahahaha

I only use 93 also, But if I did use 109 or a can of octanium the tune adjusts for it by itself.

Chad is running 109 in his car and pushing over 800 rwhp with an automatic with no tune change.

There great that it does that for real. I don't know that. I know there are plenty of people that use other fuels that likely take advantage of it.
