    My GT500 made well over 800 when tuned full tilt and I never had the valve covers off the thing. It would trap 110mph in the 1/8, 138mph in the 1/4 while shifting gears in a 4000lb car. I don't think the coyote motors are any better necessarily, but the package they come in now with the S550...

    Hmm... I see the logic in that. Car was down a couple of mph in the 1/8th mile last time at the track, and that's what got me started datalogging trying to find the issue. When I saw the knock I assumed that was the reason. Might be a couple of separate issues combined causing the mph to nose off.

    As stated... you will need slicks. Forget the drag radials. You won't have the power to hit a 6.99 with pure MPH, so you will have to do it with a killer 60ft. So you will need axles.... Then, you will probably need a 150 shot to hit a 6.99. Plus, you better be a REALLY good driver...

    This. The VMP flows much better than the Roush blower does. I believe VMP even offers an upgrade for cars that have the Roush blower... At least they used to. It was a new case and you just installed the rotor pack from the Roush blower.
