Had my brother in law paint the aluminum wrapped dash pieces (4 parts) in high gloss white, to match my shift knob and stripes.
Looks great! :ford:

I've seen others go this route and I'm also interested. Are you still running the stock resonator? Also what needs to be done to make these fit? What years GT500 mufflers will work?
Sound clip after your done please.
Plenty of clips if you search, with resonator, without, with and without cats.

Knocked out an oil change switch to royal purple and used Lucas Synthetic Oil Stabiliser.
Made the mistake of using a caliper paint kit. Wasn't the cool out (74) but the pain thickend on the brush as I was painting and it came out uneven and with brush marks. Never been great with hand painting but wanted to try this rout first befor removing calipers and having to bleed the system etc.
Figure I may try spray on caliper paint over my rough base coat. Then if that doesn't give a nice smooth finish it's time to pull disasemble strip then air brush them or send em out to be powder coated.

I don't know that I would use oil stabilizer in these cars..or well, any car...

And what's that?
I've always ran Oil stabiliser/friction modifier even in my drive mostly diesels but my last gas build I was running 800HP on an LS3 vette ran it hard and dragged it at the track 3 days a week and never had any issues

It's a very viscous 60 grade base stock lubricant that has little to no additives. It does nothing more than thicken the oil you are mixing it with, while also diluting the additives. Why would you want to reduce the percentage of additives in the lubricant when replacing one quart of normal oil with LOS? ~Unleashthebeast

Not to pile on, BUT:

Anytime you put something in the crank case of your 40 thousand dollar car, you should ask yourself "What do I know, that the lubrication engineering team who worked on this design for 20 months in a lab and out on the test tracks does not?"
