Mods are always money down the drain. Back in the day I had a 95 Impala SS that I spent $$$$$, not the least of which was 8K to drop the auto and put in a T56 6 speed. I prolly had another 5+ or more in other mods. I sold it for 8K not long after I put the 6 speed in. Good luck. All that said...

Pretty happy with the General gmax as-5. I'm a commuter though with 129 mile drive each way every week. I will put 18" snows on GT rims for the winter.
