You would also need pistons rods right?
Aluminator shortblock has them already. Hence shortblock not bare block.

it has an engine!
Since mmr refuses to answer my question... does anyone know if the gpm is increased on the mmr hurricane pump? If its not, why would anyone chose it over just using tss gears and reusing the housing? Ive seen mmr and tss fight on other forums. Im really at a loss between the two.

Any thoughts kelly?

Has anyone ever though about just selling their stock shortblock and buying an aluminator? The way I see it is the aluminator is 5500, you can get maybe 2500-3000 for your shortblock, plus what you would spend to buy OPG's and get them installed that's probably 1200$ so you're only a little over 1K away from a built motor and I think I read the aluminator comes with billet gears from ford!
Can you link where you see aluminator for 5500 please

Speaking about dampers......a few of us are trying to get your input/info on a 8 rib pulley we can use on a ATI damper with the stage 2 kit. We have tagged you in the thread.
We just install a Procharger Stg.2 kit with an ATI damper. You just need to specify when you order the Procharger kit that your using an ATI damper since the 8-rib pulley is differs if your using the stock damper.

Some of us are past that so we are hoping someone knows the part number for the ATI pulley as well as the PC pulley for us 15 guys. Do you know?

ati makes an oem size balancer, and a 10 rib 20% o/d balancer for the coyote (you can opt for no a/c pulley with each one of those)

on the stage 2 you would need the reg diameter balancer and a new procharger hub pulley specific for the ati balancer,

on the HO kit, you can run either reg or 20% o/d balancer , if you opt for the 20% o/d you would need a smaller water pump pulley, and grind the tensioner

edit: we use the 20% alot on the paxton 11-14 and 15/16 cars and also on the prochargers 15/16 with dedicated drive, it's a pretty popular setup

Which ati damper would you use on a N/A build?

no reason for an o/d dampner on an n/a build really

i would do the ati stock size or mmr romac

mmr is a little less expensive, both are really nice

we can help with either

How about the Ford Racing oil pump. Anyone know if there are any changes to the housing or bypass valve, or is it just billet gears in an otherwise stock pump?
