    Totally get it. I've seen I believe it was a 96 year old go skydiving. I've seen people do amazing things. For me, I don't have a lift and being on my back or hunched over my engine bay isn't the most fun anymore.

    I don't have an answer on horsepower ratings. Blame the dyno blame air who knows. I spoke to Mike malicoat about pulley I was running in past, and he said many people run that pulley without issue. Not placing any blame or saying Whipple sucks or any of that nonsense.

    Thanks! I'll plan to pull it off this weekend and post some pics. Yes ran 3.0 pulley, several others have run smaller just fine for years so dunno. It's only been wot a few dozen times.

    I have not disassembled the blower, I only removed the head unit from the car. I was replying to WD Pro's comment about the bolt. It did not ingest a bolt.

    Not possible it ingested a bolt; I'll try to send some pics of inlet; inlet looks fine, rotors look fine, I am debating removing back cover, as I don't know how its put together back there but I assume the issue lies with the gears that connect the jack shaft to the rotors.

    What do you mean by known issue? And what do you mean by fix what's supposed to be covered? Time wise I'm sure I'm out of warranty.

    Agreed. It's odd. My car only has 16k miles total on it. I started with roush vmp supercharger swapped to whipple gen 2 then whipple gen 3. Haven't driven car much, decided needed to take it out. Drove to pick up my son and whipple took a dump.

    Thanks for the info! I did do the install myself but it's fairly straight forward. I did not put bags of ice or anything on it. I was simply driving in the city when it locked up on me.

    Are you saying this to find a cheap roller chassis and take advantage of weight savings?     Im in a 2015 running over 900 wheel, nt05r plus all the bmr stop the hp package and have zero wheel hop. I do get wheel spin in first on the street, and some on 2nd occasionally but that's it. Look into bmr and a good tire that will take care of ya.
