Any opinions on what to fill the tank with for winter storage? Should I use a non-ethanol gas or ethanol blend? Don’t know how well the ethanol holds up during long storage.

Add enough StaBil for +/- 15 gallons using the funnel in the trunk, then fill the tank with whatever you usually use. Don't sweat the ethanol if you have a full tank. It may be hygroscopic, but you won't have enough air exchange to make a difference.

I'm a long time boater and this question comes up every year. Ethanol condenses (creates water vapor) when there are big temperature swings. Therefore there are several option.
1. Use non-ethanol gas, i.e. no condensation no matter the fuel level.
2. Use ethanol gas AND completely fill your tank, i.e. no air no condensation.
3. Use ethanol gas, add a stabilizer and don't worry about the fuel level.

Problem is.. the simple advice is usually the best advice . But because it's simple advice , and not some splitting of the atom combined with proving the existence of aliens type complicated advice , nobody believes it . Haha .

Technically Ethanol is hydrophilic and attracts water over time. Nothing to do with temperature.

The fuel system is not sealed so water will get in whatever, in addition the other components in fuel are unstable with time.

Fuel stabiliser is the answer

I just filled up with 93/E10 for winter. Can't buy ethanol free here, nor would I need to. My car won't be driven when salt is on the roads, (maybe after a good rain or two) but it will be started at least twice a month.

Depends on climate controlled storage and if your are forced induction. Climate controlled I would do non-ethanol with some Stabil but don’t fill up. Top it off in the Spring with premium. Forced induction I would not recommend Stabil or any additives. I would just fill up with premium in the Spring. If you fill it up now you will have a tank full of 87 come Spring as octane decreases over time.
