Winter storage

What do you do to store your mustang for winter storage . Do you start it periodically? What do you do with your battery? Do you put your car on jack stand ? Are you concerned with flat spots on your tires? Even in a garage do you need to be concerned about rodents ? Thanks so much for your help in advance Joe.

I occasionally drive it on nice winter days, but...
Keep it covered in garage
Keep a battery tender hooked up
Put a few drops of mint oil on several cotton balls & place them in trunk (moth balls also work but it is tough to get rid of the smell)

Don't start it unless you're going to drive it, you're doing more harm than good.

You can move to Florida and you wont have to worry about "winter" storage any longer

overinflate tires
mothballs in trunk and passenger floor
hook up battery tender
cover

come back in spring

So far every year I've stored mine, I put in moth balls and never had an issue with critters or rodents. There may be better solutions, but I've been lucky so far with mothballs.

I have heard that dryer sheets work well ! I have heard not proven that moth balls are a Carson genetic and are cancer causing?

Don't eat them and you won't have a problem. And mine is a vert so the smell is not an issue, just put the top down and it's gone in about 30 seconds.

Peppermint oil on paper towels in open ziplock under hood.

Moth balls are nasty. I passed on buying a GT500 because it was such an overwhelming stench. The po must've put 50 of them inside!
The dealer had a deionize machine in it for a week to try and reduce the smell.
Tried other methods as well. Nothing worked.
