My cars been stored since mid december and I'm very tempted to take it out now.. There is still salt on the roads and my car is sparkly clean. Should I take it out???

I don't know what to do someone help me :frusty::frusty:

Its too cold to give it another wash so I would have to park it as if (if it gets a little dirty)

Please note I live in Toronto Canada, weather is close to 0 degrees Celsius and it's warm enough to drive but not wash at home!

I've driven Mustangs through many Michigan winters as my DD.

Just drive the car.

Drive it - wash when you can.

I've got a 65 convertible and 70 mach 1. These cars will rust just mentioning the word rust... Actually, they are all sealed up pretty good now.. My point is, the new metal and treatment is millennium falcon light years ahead of what it once was.

Well I am down the road eastward (Montreal) and our streets are not even close yet for contemplating taking out the summer cars! I am jealous that its even an option so early in the year.

I’d still wait a few more weeks, let the salt get cleaned off the roads.

I would never take a $150,000.00 car out in the snow/ice/salt.

That is not your car...

Drive it... have fun... it won't fall apart if you get a little dirt on it and don't wash it.

Sometimes I have to look at the url to ensure I'm still on a Mustang forum. :-)

My uncle drives his 2014 Mustang around Mississauga on nice days in winter. He also gets it Krown rust proofed though.

It's going to be in the low 50s tonight here and I'm considering not driving it b/c it's too cold to have the windows down. :headbonk::lol:

I feel your pain. Chicago roads are about as clean and dry as they get in winter today so I took my practically new baby out for a little fun. One lightning blue, lightly salted? The main reason I sold the 'vette, I was so OCD about clean it felt like a liability. Told myself that's not going to happen with the Ford. Trying to strike a happy medium.
