Oooooh........don't assume they didn't drop some octane boost in there. Some customer spends serious $$, the shop will definitely want to show that the money spent can be shown on a dyno run.

Since the mods you did probably don't add much power (others might chime in with their experiences, with different results), dropping some octane booster into the tank for the 1st dyno run is the best way to assure a happy customer.

It's sales dude. Lots of smoke and mirrors in sales.

But for now, just forget about it.
Octane boost isnt going to jump you up 20hp

Certainly it can. If it stops the engine from pulling timing, it can have a huge effect. Just switching from 87 to 93 octane probably nets in excess of 20HP, imagine boosting it to 100+ octane will do.

Jhonda with just a Injen cai on E85 made 470/440 whp. A catless long tube setup should put that @ 500 whp I would think.
