Yeah Stangygt does not have a clue. Blah blah blah…
Idle stall issues are due to VCT solenoids and intake cam phasers only. That is what this thread is about…? Dude is just puking garbage. Take your meds Man. lol.
Lol. Yep. Mine would occasionally rev up to 4500 rpms when pulling out. Always scared the crap out of me. A little disconcerting when you foot is off the accelerator (on brake) and the car is reving up by itself…?? My 18 had problems.
Like new and only used 2k miles. Gig’s Performance Engineering factory OEM 80mm TB hand ported to 88mm at the edge. No tune required and improves throttle response through out powerband. No longer have the mustang is why I’m selling. Cheap and easy way to make a tad more power too. I used this...
Nope. No check engine lights ever. I paid 34 for my base pp1 a10 2018 back in June 18. I traded it almost 3 years later (12k miles exc cond) and got 31 for it. lol. Good riddance. Lol.
No they do not necessarily do both. I have a hunch on what is actually happening. I ran PUP which has heavy detergents in the oil. Once the oil was 1800-2k miles old is when the idle shit always started again. I think it clogs up and or contaminates the VCT solenoids.
I think it is a bigger issue than Ford wants to admit. Between that and the constant a10 (hard down shifts, phantom revs ups in gear) I traded the problem child. Car ran great at wot though. lol...
