Ford designers put a "wrinkle" in the rear quarters of newer Mustangs?? To me the car would look better without it and in fact the first time I saw this "wrinkle" on a Taurus I thought it was damaged.....UGH!!

Photos of my car showing what I'm talkin' about..........not as apparent on darker colors but don't ya think our cars would look better without it??:sunglasses:

I've noticed it before but never gave it that much thought.
Realistically you have two choices, Chalk it up to a quirk and let it go. Or pay a body shop to remove it. Guess it depends on how strongly you feel about it.

It is what it is and I'm OK leaving it but still think it would look better without it even if the RWHP was less!!

I don't really like the style on the brand new stangs, think the style of my 2016 looks better but thats just my opinion.

Sometimes car stylists are just smoking crack. After all, they did make '99 Tauruses, Pontiac Azteks, '58 Edsels, '59 Bel Airs, Pintos, not to mention Mustang IIs and a few other serious fuglies along the way. The wrinkle is small potatoes in the big scheme of car-fugly.

Forgot to say, Jack, nice car.

Why? It carries over the character line. Without it, it would just look weird... especially when you look lower and see the other character line that carries over into the bumper cover.
