$250 for a dyno? Damn I want to live where you live lol. Cheapest I've found is $500 for three pulls, with most offering the $750 for dyno /$1500 for dyno tune.

You know how hardhats are required at construction sites? This headpiece should be required at greedy businesses, especially with those kind of prices. That’s just nuts!

Dont look at dyno numbers too much, they are a true representation of change, if you do a before and after on one dyno, but once you compare that dyno to this dyno,
the same setup can show 700whp or 780whp depending on the dyno and how they set it up.
If truly that much difference, why bother to begin with?
I find that hard to believe...

A Dyno is simply a tuning aid and safe place to hit triple digits without going to jail. I cringed every time I had to make logs on the street for my tuner. I figured I would run out of luck eventually and hated having to run those kind of speeds on the street.

A remote session on the Dyno might be what I’ll do next time around, followed by some normal street and highway tweaking to get dialed in to perfection.

lol tell me about it. Top of 3rd is like what 120? And I already got lucky with 1 reckless driving here in VA. Luckily I was able to do all my datalogging in 2nd gear this time after going supercharged.

Different brands of dynos give different readouts as calibrations and operations are different, then on top of that sometimes they dont do dynos in 1 to 1 gear ratios due to it running too high a mph for safety, so that is also infered, then sometimes the shop individually does some type of touching on the calibration depending on sae or other calibrations, causing a considerable difference that also is a percent difference so the higher the hp, the higher the difference can be

Thats why the best is to set a dyno from stock, then mod and check the change in whp which is a more true number
