TSP for me as well, I think they were $1200 installed. No issues.

Helluva price you got there with an install! Thank God I was able to install my own and save on some labor or I’d probably have spent between $1000 - $1500. that would have put me at around $3000 - $3500 for my trumpets.

I went with Kooks 2" long tubes, no cats, and Kooks 3" catback. I couldn't be happier with it. Installed everything with the help of a friend. That along with a Lund tune netted 450hp on a mustang dyno in the middle of summer on a 90+ degree day. I have since Installed a Whipple stage 2 kit which is insane. To each their own, personally I am a fan of the full open exhaust and I didn't buy this car to nickel and dime performance mods. That is what my old Hondas were for. This was the first car I have ever bought brand new and I wanted to build it with quality parts.

I often wondered if lth are worth the cost. I currently run stock exhaust manifolds without cats or a resonator. Without the cats and my car seems to run well; however, I have no comparison. Personally, at the price point would rather upgrade suspension, tires etc. just my opinion.

No fitment issues no false knock, it was Texas Speed Headers. The only real problem is that I bought magnaflow street with stock connection pipes. So the mangaflow had to be widened. Obviously I don't have a certain part for that price, but the drone and the sound is excellent. I am not aware of the installer had to move the AC lines or the engine but everything is indeed kosher.

The advantage to LTH is the scavenging effect. And full equal length primaries that speed up the exhaust flow. Not gonna get that with shorties.

NMRA Coyote Stock Class runs LTHs and just about all of them can stand their cars on the back bumper with a sealed Coyote engine making about 480 rwhp. Granted, these cars are significantly lighter than a street car, but the point is, the racers feel the need to run LTHs with 1.75” primaries for maximum performance. They sound good launching at about 7800 rpm and look even better on a wheelie.

Check them out here. Don’t forget to pay particular attention to thr ET and mph, and the killer 1st - 3rd gear wheelie (at the 6:24 mark in the video) that one racer pulled.

Hey, you'll be replacing cats sooner or later with FI. Mine just went out. Spent 700 on Stainless works LTH/Offroad's Mine got clogged up. LT installs SUCK for sure it took me 8+ hours on jack stands. Friendly tip if you do end up doing LT's install do yourself a favor and just remove the passenger side motor mount its not worth it time wise not to. I fought it for hours then still ended up pulling it out and them boom i was done in 15 minutes. You'll gain some power and if your replacing OEM/Cats anyways go the cheaper route with LT's. "Emissions" can be fixed, it isn't hard. I didn't do it for the power I did it so I'm not replacing cats anymore. Now down the road If i want to tune for more power I have that ability. Also where the factory connect is, I just cut the reducer off and put a set of resonators in. Boom I have the beautiful sound of LT's no drone its not any louder and its 3" all the way back.
