At any rate, my next set of summer tires won't me MT Street Comps. They're cheap, but that's about all they have going for them.
i love mine. so far would buy again. I don't have any issues with them except for the cooler mornings but even then I'm not stomping on it... i'm just driving like a normal person.

That's the thing, I don't stomp on it either, but I literally have to take the first few turns slow (regardless of air temp, and dry tires of course) and really ease into the gas, otherwise the street comps break loose. Once they warm up a bit, they stick well.

On top of that, driving on these tires in heavy rain is not fun. The all seasons manage just fine, but my street comps feel like they're always on the verge of hydroplaning.

Still on stock 19" PZero's. Actually had flurries here this morning. It was about 35* when I went out today. Car drove fine. I just didn't hammer the throttle. I have had multiple vehicles with summer tires living up and down the east coast from NJ to FL seeing all 4 seasons. Only problem I ever had was with snow on the ground... Cold pavement, no problem, just take it easy, and by easy I mean, just follow posted speed recommendations and accelerate lightly (so like a normal person, like Khyber said lol)...As far as the tire chunking and splitting, I would expect that more as the tire ages and is in areas with extended cold seasons, and being left outside the majority of its life. Remember OEM's are going to error on the side of caution when making recommendations.

Still on P Zeros with 32 F down to 25 F weather. But the car is parked in a garage, albeit an unheated one. I take my Toyota and leave the Stang. Want to get some AS3 tires on it ASAP

Strangely enough, I have to really try hard to get my rear to slip on the A/S tires, even on skinnier tires and colder temps. (These are the P Zero Nero... well 1 tire is a P Zero Corsa because discount tire messed up)
I've switched to my dedicated set of winter wheels/tires, but I rock the 19" P Zero Neros Spring-Fall and I have to try REALLY hard to get them to slip at all. It's probably some kind of torque management in the AT that discourages tire spinning.

Still rolling on them too. I do not drive the car though unless it is a nice warmish day out. I drive my truck on the really cold nasty days.

My 2011 has never worn anything but summer tires since new. After wearing out the original PZeros I installed Continental DW summers. It was 14 degrees this morning. Unless there is snow on the ground I'm driving.

My car will only have summer tires on it. I can drive in cold weather and not act a fool :).

I have Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar G:2's. 285/35 and 305/35. Picture for proof :D.

sad to say I am. I have 14,xxx miles on my p zeros. We have had outstanding weather so far in st louis. It has been cold a few times, but no wet stuff (sans the floods over festivus).

At this point, I am going to try and nurse it along and make it to spring where I will get another set of summer only tires.

If it ever does snow, the car will get parked, but right now, some 30 degree weather has not been to bad.

Plan is to but a set of 18"s and all winter tires for next year.

Whatever I need
Summer tires all year long in SW FL, and those PP P-Zeros are wearing really well.

Still on stock tires. It was 10F this morning. Went sideway a little leaving from a stop. My tires were harder than a pornstar's nipples.

I'm still running with the P-Zeros too. Living in Baton Rouge helps for sure, it's been warm enough to wear shorts so far until about last week. But even in around 30-50 degree weather I haven't had a single issue driving on them. I can definitely tell however that if I were to stomp on it I would have a problem in the mornings, so I just don't.
