Agree. All seasons are a total marketing ploy. All season tires are meant for spring/summer/fall, and the lightest dusting of snow on sleet. In winter you can manage to drive and get around on AS but if you switch to proper winter/snow tires you notice a dramatic change in your cars ability to accelerate, brake, and handle. If you live in a snowy climate do yourself a favor and purchase respectable snow tires during the winter.... End rant
. Agreed...first hand experience with driving on DRY pavement in temperatures in the teens (and the lady I scared when my rear end slid out due to slight throttle application is probably still on supplemental oxygen) :eyebulge:

Yes you are right, but all seasons for cold weather ( no real snow) is ok IMO, never had issues when I was back east and when it snowed the winter tires went on real quick.Agree. All seasons are only marginally better than summer tires in the cold. Until you have driven on proper high performance winter tires you can't imagine how much better they are on dry cold pavement, wet cold pavement, icy pavement or snow covered pavement.
Trust me im a born and half raised New Englander lol, given tires have progressed a lot since when I lived back there but the winter performance tires that were available ( super expensive if memory served me right back then) were awesome
