OK I received my updated wiring harness for the fans and unfortunately I am not good reading circuit drawings so I need help!! Anybody out there installed this and do you have any video, pictures or any other help to offer?

After what I paid for the install I ain't paying a couple hundred more to install this I will just keeping restarting my car and turning off to turn off the fans.

Still don't understand why this did not come with SC and dual fan upgrade?

I thought it was included with the latest kit. I thought at this point the kit included everything and the latest tune.

I can shoot some video / photos on the weekend if nobody chimes in. Not really that difficult, but does require a little knowledge for connecting / splicing a wire etc.

From here on out the kit comes this way. This is for us early adapters before the PCM controlled the fans.

I will be glad to help the best I can. Can't really do pictures as it's just easier to talk you through it. PM me and I'll give you my phone # and will try and aide you over the phone at some point.

The revision in the wiring harnesses is just now coming to market. The ability for the PCM to control the fans has been in the tunes for quite a while now. So now you just need to retrofit a wiring harness to make it work.

Whipple could have just left things alone but they strive to make the best kit out there so even though this is a small headache I for one am great full for their continued innovation.

FYI I am not sure if the fans can be controlled if using a custom tune like Lund. Dustin will have to chime in on this.

Thanks for all the help, post, send any picture videos write-ups you can and I will PM you Jmeo for help when I am ready to try the install. Working a lot of overtime for the next several weeks so I will have to wait till I get off to have the time..

again thanks and yes do love the Whipple and everything about it performance, quality, looks under the hood just wish I would have known about this when purchased two weeks ago and the shop could have installed it.

Oh I totally understand, trust me. It would have been nice for me to have this from the beginning as well that's for sure.

My statement was simply how awesome Whipple has been at keeping things top notch. People didn't like the fans running when car was off so they found a way to cure it. I don't know if custom tuners have the capability of using the PCM to control fans and pump but I think not.

For years the norm was to send PCM to CA to be flashed. People wanted change and now we have the software and the ability to install our own updates. Pretty cool if you ask me.

Man I hear you on the OT, I have been working so freaking much this year to cover the goodies lol. Priorities my friend lol. If you need me I'll do my best to help.
